BlueSi13 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Mmmm who ain't supporting the club?? Even PEARSON still in charge now people are still supporting the club He will not be here in 2 weeks, let alone 2 years I hope you're horrifically wrong about that but I fear that maybe the case. I think he will probably think **** this shitstorm and move on. He won't be long out of a job that's for sure.
Legend_in_blue Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I am finding it difficult to come up with positives for Pearson atm. He's imploded on himself.
GH1 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 All you linekerites support lineker not the club , your delusional No one is bigger than the club Pearson or Lineker, it's just that Pearson has started behaving like Clough in his alcoholic years, he dosent think he can do any wrong. That's what pressure does to you
nettle Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 If Nigel Pearson stays with the club another two years then he will have been a member of staff at the football club for a combined seven years. The same as Gary Lineker. Is Nigel a Leicester fan now then? I thought he was from Nottingham I'm pretty sure lineker is a Leicester boy? Pearson won't give two shits about us when he's gone I know Gary will.
foxfanazer Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Aren't many people doing EXACTLY this about Nigel Pearson. Particularly the younger members who know nothing other than success under Pearson? I think you're right but this whole argument can be turned 360. What are these recent digs at the younger members of this forum all about? Just because your pro Pearson you have to be a stupid kid that didn't live through the O'neill 'glory days'?Most unlike you Col my old mate

Pearson won't give two shits about us when he's gone I know Gary will. The same Gary Lineker that ****ed off to Everton as soon as he could? Also, how do you know that Pearson wouldn't give a shit about us? If I'd spent a big chunk of my life being the boss somewhere I know I'd still care.

He will always be a Leicester fan where ever he is or whatever he is doing.
theessexfox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 If Lineker is such a Leicester fan then why leak info that is harmful to the club?
Benjani Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Turning on gary lineker now pearson has brainwashed a lot of you. You seem to think hes mourinho for getting us out of the championship even paul jewell won the championship

There is not a cat in hells chance would PEARSON put in a big whack of cash when the club needed it like lineker did, just for that he deserves our upmost respect
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Which trouble would that be exactly? Or aren't we simply blowing things out of proportion? If you're describing a toss and a tumble as an "incident", I'd like to see how you're describing a daylight robbery to me. What makes you think the atmosphere's bad at the club or within the fanbase? You're one of the few regular sour faces on here, if at all. This messageboard has seen its fair share of healthy debate, so I don't see what's so unusual about it. Unless you're feeling a bit awkward for being the center of attention. I thought it was Pearson who was the centre of attention. Pardon my ignorance, oh great and powerful one. The atmosphere at the club is obviously perfect, and on here also. What awkwardness am I supposed to be experiencing, by the way? The spelling is centre in England, not "center." Enjoy your evening, old chap, and give your brain a rest.
Guest Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 For one or two on hear who don't appear to know he actually was the architect of the rescue bid that saved his beloved club so show some respect. Yes. Disgrace that Pearson thinks he can take a pot shot at one of the most well liked and respected Leicester City people. Lineker lives on long after that arrogant tw@t.

Buzzell Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 image.jpg Should of put 'I can look after myself' at the bottom of that.

What are you basing that on? You could argue Pearson did something even better though which was getting us out of the financial shit that Sven left us with... Not taking anything away from Lineker for what he did however, but today he has been a bit daft contributing the furore surrounding the club.

Maybe so, But I also thinking its a bit daft telling one of your clubs supporters s to f**k and die
Weller 7 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Why is what Lineker said harmful to the club? Does the truth hurt? Pearson seems to think he can say what he likes, when he likes, especially to the press and then expects them not to retaliate. He is either deluded or completely stupid to think he can take on the the might of the BBC. He's tried it locally and got away with it but he won't get away with it nationally. What a silly, deluded man.

Mark_w Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Aren't many people doing EXACTLY this about Nigel Pearson. Particularly the younger members who know nothing other than success under Pearson? I think you're right but this whole argument can be turned 360. I assume you're including me in this assumption so in defence of myself, I think Nigel Pearson is a legend. I think he has done an enormous amount for the club, taking us from our lowest point back to the Championship when things could have gone horribly wrong, and making it look so easy that people forget how vital that season was, and following it up by getting us into the play-offs with a bang average side. And then coming back, cleaning up Sven's huge mess and pushing us over the line in the most spectacular fashion imaginable. It's for that reason that I get very, very angry and end up getting myself banned when people throw vitriol Nigel Pearson's way or act like he's done nothing for the club. But that's not the reason I want him to stay. I want him to stay because I think, for numerous reasons (one of which is his managerial record yes) that he is the best option to take the club forward IN THE LONG TERM. I also think, now that Pulis has gone elsewhere, that he's the best option to keep us in the Premier League, though that's never been a higher priority than the long term health of the club for me. I think you're taking the first motives and assuming that's why people want him to stay and I don't think that's right. I think the people who want him to stay think he's the best option for the future of the club. Nigel pearson, will not give a shit about this club in 2 years time, lineker on other hand!! Leicester through and through So? Nigel Pearson's comment was a tad unnecessary though not a particularly big deal. Lineker's first tweet was fine although not particularly funny. But Lineker's second tweet, can only serve to destabilise this football club at a vital moment in our first season back in the top flight in a decade. No one is questioning Gary's status as a Leicester legend, but it is potentially damaging and obviously not his finest hour. Should we be celebrating Gary Lineker apparently releasing sensitive information that casts the club in a bad light just because he's a legend? Or should we say, you know what, we love you, but that was a real dick move.
st albans fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Pearson had a dig at the MOTD pundits + lineker He didn't have to be sarcastic They were doing their jobs, just like he feels he should be allowed to do his. Gary should shave come back with a retort which was clever but didn't reveal embarrassing stuff about the club. It's done now. Most of the sane ones here knew it was probably something like that anyway. We have to move on quickly. A loss on Sunday and the next three league games and we may be well adrift.
