I have my reservations on whether he can do it or not, but I still have some belief (albeit very little) that Nigel can pull it off and really stake a claim as the best manager we've ever had, but to add to that, I'm not sure there is another manager I'd like to do that more than Nigel.

He has got himself in hot water, but he's clearly a man of great honor, and he expects his players and unfortunately the media to be as such, (which is not always the case)

But we have seen the playful, happy Nigel in those good times, watching his interviews talking about putting goldfish into water containers, spraying Shakey whilst having a pre season interview with his water, the fun Nigel we all love to sometime hate.

So my question is this.

Do you actually Want Nigel to be successful?

Recently I've voiced my concerns over his position, however whilst i'll voice myself on here, come Saturday him and the team have my full support and optimism.

A few people seem to have an agenda towards the man personally not just as our manager towards his recent problems. Do you think he is the man to take us forward MORALLY, not just on a performance level? I personally love his rough exterior personality, saying what he wants when he wants. Football needs that bit of steel.

Would you rather Nigel became successful with us, or somebody else?

I'd have loved him to have a successful campaign this season. I was firmly behind him. Seeing him failing miserably and I'm sorry to say it, enter a slippery slope in terms of his behaviour is absolutely gutting.

If there was a 'shittest poll of the week' poll, this one gets my vote

This is why you shouldn't vote until you've seen all the candidates.

Is anybody really going to say no while he's in charge?

When thye news came out yday that he'd gone i was actually shocked and abit saddened.

I think this season has been a  massive step up in his managerial career and he really has made some astonishing blunders.

However he has stablisied our club from what was truning into a circu with a different manager for every season,or so it felt.

I've critisied him alot of late for his silly decisions and especially on Sat with his altercation with Mc.

BUT who would be out there now if he went?

The only man i could name who i'd be vaguely happy with would be Laudrup but im sure people would have their reservations about him.

We are still only 4 points adrif,i know we have some shocking games coming up and if our strikers could score or if we had abit of luck(i dont actually buy into the luck thing) but if the post was a foot to the other side and Nugent scored his header etc...etc...you never know...

Yeah, BUT only next season. I've sort of taken a step back from taking football seriously (not that I really did anyway) and part of me is oddly enjoying how mad our current situation is. I'd like to see a bit more comedy before the season ends but just little enough that Pearson isn't fired. Then next season, whatever league we're in, we start again properly. For now, it's all about taking care of ourselves, Lineker's lines, being linked with Dennis Wise and fingers crossed that squirrel makes another appearance last day of the season. Maybe we could ask it to decide whether us or QPR is relegated, like the Groundhog Day ceremony

Really don't give a fvck who the manager is just want success for the club.

But saying that I will not over react as some on here do.

I also think given time Nige will be a great manager.

Just starting to think our club does not have the time he needs.

What a stupid question.

Of course I do, firstly I like the bloke, but more importantly if he is successful it means we successful and doing well.

Even if he does end up going I'll wish him the best and every success in the future after all he has done for us.

It's like players I've slagged off over the years, I want them to do well, I'll slag them off but I want them to prove me wrong, I really do! I think the only player of note that has proved me wrong (well he did last season) is Vardy.

At the moment I have got a huge issue with Nugent, abit of a hate campaign maybe, but it's for a reason, he's ****ing shit at the moment., but of course I want him to turn a corner, become good and be a success for us, whilst I'm slagging him off (and other players, but mainly him) it's more of a case of challenging him rather than slagging him off, I really do want him to prove me wrong, make me eat my words, be a success and the same goes for Pearson.

It would be a stupid question if there were not constant personal abuse at his personality etc....

But recently it's come to light a lot of people have a genuine agenda with the man not just the skill level.

So no. Not a stupid question.

I agree with your answer though and im the same, people tend to disagree though, paul Gallagher for example... Some people seem to want to see him so badly...

I've seen a few say they hate Milan Manderic for "using" us and hope he ends up in trouble somewhere...

Mad really

Why are you talking like the season is over? Its early Feb.

We have some tough games coming up, but a nice run in and are in the fifth round of the FA Cup having beaten 2 Premier League teams to get there.

Does nigel fit the bill?

To be honest Lee Nigel's days are numbered now and I feel not for football reasons.

Another outburst or situation and I think he is gone even if we have just won 2 or 3 games.

Infact if there is any truth that he was sacked and then was not it suggests to me the owners are going to look for the next man before they bullet Nige.

Think you may be right and it's a great shame, want him to be successful but I don't want him to change his personality, he's an old school hard disciplined manager, take no crap. But he can also get us playing like last season, unfortunately his disciplined personality has been undisciplined in silly situations!!

Probably not at the moment, he seems overwhelmed by the media and pressure. Only he can change the way he presents himself to the media/public.

Wasn't sure he was cut out for this division around the Swansea away game, which was diabolical but they were just reservations..

I completely wanted him gone once he abused fans. If we were 12th at the time I probably wouldn't have batted much of an eyelid over the incident though honestly.

Culmination of league position.. selections decisions.. tactical decisions and to top it all off his vile behaviour (Burnley interview, **** off and Die, Attacking McArthur and now verbally attacking a man dear to many Leicester fans hearts Gary Lineker) - I think his position has become untenable. It's making things very awkward when I love the club but detest the manager. I can't really help how I feel in that respect.

The Owners must be feeling pressure with all the shame he is bringing to the club, the king power brand and the city this season.

He will probably go well somewhere else with limited resources and limited expectations. But this club is bigger than him and needs someone else to take it to the next level.

This is a bit of a daft poll :P

A successful Nige means a successful Leicester City so anyone in their right mind should want a successful Nige.
