lgfualol Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Krama and Mahrez will start tearing defences apart and we will finish 16th.. I'm feeling very encouraged at the moment.
chicagofox Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Quote Arsene "Stick together, you will stay up" **** off Wenger. The club has stuck together for 3 quarters of the season and the only direction we are heading is down.
john doe Posted 10 February 2015 Posted 10 February 2015 Bottom of table lost again 5 points adrift so proud
chapero82 Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Confidence is the problem up front I think, maybe today woukd have done wonders for it. The players can take a lot of positives out of today's game
Bayfox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 **** off Wenger. The club has stuck together for 3 quarters of the season and the only direction we are heading is down.much tho I love an opinion. maybe wenger knows a little more about football than us.everyone else can see we are a decent side. why can't most of our moronic fans? ps I know I'm gonna regret asking this in the morning.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 We did better than I thought we would, but we lost and that is the bottom line. However, we did come back at them, but the damage was done by then. Even further behind now, with a poor goal difference, compared to some of the teams just above us.
Tuna Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 The sad thing is that had we bought Huth and Kramaric in in the summer (Or equivalents) we'd be about halfway up the league. Instead we're going down. Fine Margins as they say.
hejammy Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Just got back from the game, well taken goal by kramaric however he was very isolated up there on his own, especially the first half. His opportunity where he tried to chip their keeper was unnecessary/naive and he should have done better, hes learning every game and hopefully now he has his first he will bag a few more for us. Ulloa and nugent were pretty unnoticeable when they came on, Ulloa needs to work harder I feel. Mahrez was superb again! Schlupp had his moments but was sloppy at times. Their second goal could/should have been avoided by Schwertzer pushing the ball out much further than he did, although he did make a couple of goods saves like the early one against Walcott. Our defense was transformed with Huth in the middle, as much as I would hate for a captain to be dropped I think the defense with Huth and Was in the middle would be far more composed. An enjoyable evening overall which could have been much better if we got the point we deserved. Story of our season I guess so far.
MIAMI_FOX Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Proud? Really? Because our players try against Arsenal, Liverpool etc but can't motivate themselves for matches against Palace and Stoke? Because we haven't learnt how to defend a set piece yet? Because we've got 17 points from 25 games? It doesn't take much to make you proud, obviously. Why do people automatically throw the "players weren'tmotivated" around if we lose to a side in the bottom side. It's bollocks. They are always motivated
chicagofox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 much tho I love an opinion. maybe wenger knows a little more about football than us. everyone else can see we are a decent side. why can't most of our moronic fans? ps I know I'm gonna regret asking this in the morning. We are not a decent side. If we were we wouldn't be four points adrift at the bottom of the table and only amassed 17 damn points at this stage of the season.
Carlos88LCFC Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 We are not a decent side. If we were we wouldn't be four points adrift at the bottom of the table and only amassed 17 damn points at this stage of the season. We are a decent side. Facts are facts and stats are stats... We have been unlucky all season. Burnley, spurs, Liverpool, palace, arsenal (and more)... All could & probably should have ended in wins. Which would add 15 points to our total now which would push us comfortably into the middle of the table... What does Pearson say/do/change to get a win? We are doing everything right! LCFCSOULBOY Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Very proud of the lads tonight. Actually thought Pearson was humble and sincere at the post match interview. Even felt a little sad for him. Maybe he learnt a thing or two theses last few days. Just a shame we had not built s team like tonight's last summer to compete at this level
chicagofox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 We have not been unlucky all season. This isn't an opinion. This is a fact. We are not doing everything right. This is not an opinion. This is a fact.
GaelicFox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 We were 10-1 shots and played like 2-1 shots that's a good bloody effort, imagine where we would be if we spent 20m in midfield and defence, ulloa needs wingers and Crosses to feed off but was a fracking performance pity we are know red hot favs to go down
Collibosher70 Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Well I'm classed as a hater and I was proud last night...Morgan still Shyte...Cambiasso was pure class..kramaric..huth..Mahrez all brill....wenger and Walcott went up in my estimation too..only a bit though
Sunbury Fox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 This season has been an enigma. In previous relegation campaigns - and I have sadly been through a few - the overall level of performance has been much lower than this season. I really do think we are in a false position.
chicagofox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 If we lose to Everton and Man City will everyone be overcome with pride as long as we impress Martinez and Jagielka and Pellegrini and Kompany. What about Villa and Hull - is the result less important than impressing their players and management?

Oh do me a favor. You can't seriously believe that we are in a false position.
C-man Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Oh do me a favor. You can't seriously believe that we are in a false position. Did you go to Brazil? I ask as I met a Chicago Fox in Natal before the US-Ghana game.
J.Lisemore Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 So sad how we manage to lose these games, we played them off the park at times and albeit for a bit of classy finishing, would have came away with at least a point. We really haven't had the rub of the green this season, and other clubs notice that when we play them. If we were to cut out the ridiculous mistakes at the back (Wes Morgan), we wouldn't be bottom of this league.

'A bit of classy finishing' and 'if we cut out ridiculous mistakes at the back'... That's not luck, that's quality. It's fine margins at this level.
Sunbury Fox Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Oh do me a favor. You can't seriously believe that we are in a false position. You have been relentlessly negative all season. You seem to enjoy defeats more than victories. In terms of general play, we are not the worst team in the division.
shailen Posted 11 February 2015 Posted 11 February 2015 Oh do me a favor. You can't seriously believe that we are in a false position. I don't think anyone can say we are in a false position. In the league if you finish bottom you deserve it. However we are not the worst team in the league. Some of our performances that have yielded zero points have been fantastic, but sadly we don't possess the firepower to make that count. If we were to get relegated we deserve it on the basis of not being able to finish opponents off, but we must be one of the best teams to ever get relegated on performances

As a matter of interest, who in your opinion is a worse team than us this season?Did you go to Brazil? I ask as I met a Chicago Fox in Natal before the US-Ghana game.No mate, that wasn't me.
