kingfox Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 After the other two favourite threads today, instead of a whole 11, who is your one favourite player of the last 10 years and why? Mine is Bruno Berner, fans favourite, consistent performer and chanting "Bruno, Bruno, Bruno" every week felt bloody good.
bovril Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 The Andy King of 2010-11. I did like Hobbs, although he was a limited footballer.
bovril Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Maybe David Connolly. I thought he was a great player.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Steve Howard for me. Absolutely loved his passion and commitment. Was also massively underrated too and 'that goal' against Leeds was one of the best moments the KP has ever saw. Put in the single handed best performance I have seen from a city player in that away play off game against Cardiff too.
cc_star Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Honourable mentions to Nugent, Berner, Dickov, Drinkwater, Connolly and not the best but as it's favourites we're talking about I really like Gally as a footballer, shame we never played him off the front man But it has to be King
ousefox Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Dickov or Dyer for me. Oh and Knockaert for his effort and being hilarious.
One Legged Beaver Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Toss up between King and Howard for me.
AdamN Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 King overall. At the moment, probably Wasilewski. At other stages, Vardy and Berner.
Wakeyfox Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Knocky. Saw his 2 amazing goals at Huddersfield including the scorpion kick and that last minute goal at forest sealed it for me. Love the guy, shame he hasn't featured more this year.
Steve Earle Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Utterly gobsmacked to see David Connoly even mentioned in this thread! A cheat, a coward, and a candidate for worst XI of the last ten years. IMO of course!
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 February 2015 Posted 20 February 2015 Filbert's celebration was sensational!
