Mahrez woeful

Schlupp at LW embarrassing

Cambiasso completely awful

Vardy dire

Everyone else their usual steady but not good enough

Nugent our MotM for actually trying to score

Pearson, nice to see him on the touchline for 90mins, should have made those subs at HT, because there was no chance of us scoring and every chance of going 2-0 down by which point it was too late

He should never play Vardy on his own, or Schlupp at LW ever again

Hamer 6 - not much to do apart from goals he couldn't do anything about, commands his box well though

Simpson 6 - did fine

Morgan 6 - solid enough

Was 7 - seemed to win most things he went for

Konchesky 2 - cost us big time

Mahrez 3 - really poor for most of game

Cambiasso 5 - not at his best today

King 5 - tidy and good defensively, not so much going forward

Drinkwater 6 - best I've seen if him this season, drive us forward well

Schlupp 6 - looked a threat

Vardy 5 - didn't make much impression

Subs all 5, had their moments, Nugent and Ulloa could both have scored

Pearson 6 - picked a decent side, took the right players off

Ref 5 - some odd decisions not least Ulloa booking

West Ham 6 - solid but not special, only 2 shots on target, and had less possession than us - a first for us away this season?

But ultimately not quite good enough at back or front

Hamer - 5

Simpson - 4

Wes - 4

Was - 4

Konch - 4 (apart from that terrible mistake he actually was pretty decent)

Mahrez - 5

Cambiasso - 5

Drinky - 6 (probably our best player)

King - 4 (needs to be dropped)

Schlupp - 6

Vardy - 6

Pearson - 6 (thought the starting lineup was good and had it not been for Konch we would have probably got something out of the game. subs were right as well.

Ref - 1 ****in awful and ruined the game

West Ham - 6 Decent but we could have got  something out of the game, their defence was shoddy

Next game, we need to drop Simpson and King for De Laet and Knocky, King does **** all and Simpson is just so ineffective, we're not scoring goals and we're conceding them regardless so we may as well have someone who is good at getting forward on like de laet

Morgan should try and keep his play simple, every game he gives the ball away in poor areas, when he could

have played it simple and put the ball out. Instead he tries to turn or worse still he tries to beat his man and ends up putting the team in trouble.

Back five all get fives barring Konchesky who gets a three. Cambiasso gets a six. Drinkwater & King were both passengers and get fours. Schlupp was dreadful, 3. Mahrez I thought was our main threat again without really doing enough, 6. Vardy gets a four. Not good enough for this league. Subs get 4/5. Pearson gets 4, thumbs up for how he set us up, thumbs down for his lack of alternative to going behind. He did try - but why do we hoof the ball? Why do we play into their hands? Ref gets 4 which is the best we've had for a while. West Ham get a 6.

Hamer 6 - No chance with either goal. Nothing else to note.

Simpson 6 - Solid but nothing more.

Wes 4 - Shits his pants whenever he gets the ball. Prefer him to be dropped when Upson is fit.

Was 6 - Solid

Konch 3 - Just fvck off

Cambiasso 3 - Thought he was absolute dogshit

King 5 - Worked hard but not forward effect

Drinky 5 - See King

Schlupp 4 - Just stop playing him please

Mahrez 3 - Did fvck all.

Vardy 2 - Looks like he did in his first season

Subs:-

Ulloa 5 - His booking was ridiculous and kept him away from any battles at all

Knocky 4 - Offered nothing really

Nugent 7 - Must start instead of Vardy. Only player that looks threatening

Lots of 5's for me. Thought Schlupp looked better at left back, hard to comment on midfield as our defence lumped it to little old Vardy who did nothing.

Was an advocate of 4 5 1 but after today I don't know what to think we don't press enough so give opposition too much time.

They were a threat and other than final 10 mins we didn't look like having a shot let alone testing the keeper.

Both full backs were poor, Konchesky for obvious reasons and Simpson as he looks scared and can't take a throw in.

Disappointing.

Manager: 6

Hamer 7 (Didn't have a lot to do but coped well. No chance with either goal)

Simpson 6 (Never really troubled)

Wasilewski 6 (Solid at the back, did well to deny Carroll at 0-0)

Morgan 6 (An improvement on recent games)

Konchesky 4 (What was he doing for the first goal? Awful pass)

Mahrez 6 (Tried hard but reluctant to shoot)

Cambiasso 6 (Our most consistent player in recent weeks)

King 6 (Worked hard for the team again, harshly booked)

Drinkwater 6 (Started brightly but faded as the game went on)

Schlupp 5 (Created little. Needs a spell on the sidelines)

Vardy 6 (Tried hard but looking short on confidence)

SUBS:
Ulloa 7 (Forced a good save out of Adrian)

Nugent 7 (Kicked the team into life when he came on)
Knockaert 5 (Created little)

West Ham: Above average, 6 (Gifted the first goal by Konchesky, good finish from Downing but created little else)

Referee: Very poor, 3 (Sodding useless. Gave everything West Ham's way, even after two of their players had taken Ulloa out)

Pearson: Stay

Vardy - 5 - Not his fault but bullied

Pearson - 6 - Right triple change

Ulloa - 6 - Looked dangerous

I'm assuming Cambiasso gets the customary 8?

This is getting really dull now. People judge him on what they see, not you. You have a different view to people. Why is it so wrong that people rate Cambiasso highly and not Vardy? Or Drinkwater?

I don't hear anyone say "well I assume Mahrez gets his usual 9". This selective rubbish on Cambiasso is tedious. If he plays well, people will say so. If he doesn't then they will say so too. Generally he's been rated quite highly compared to the rest because he's been better than the rest, albeit in a poor side. If Drinkwater kept getting higher marks for being the best of a poor set would you complain?

Anyway:

Hamer- 5 (No chance with the goals, didn't have to do much commanding of his box, kicking was ok)

Simpson- 5 (Not much better than De Laet really)

Wasyl- 5 (Cut out through balls, given no chance of stopping Carroll for the goal)

Morgan- 5 (Similar to Wasyl, not convinced he is comfortable with Hamer)

Konchesky- 2 (Wow. Appalling back pass, barely completed a forward pass and played a simple clearance across his own box under no pressure. I like him but today he was just all over the place)

Mahrez- 6 (Ran a lot, cut inside without end product too often but always wanted the ball and never hid)

Cambiasso- 5 (Tried to keep it simple without much success)

Drinkwater- 6 (Decent effort to get forward and keep the play moving. Improvement)

King- 5 (Not anonymous but not too effective either)

Schlupp- 5 (Got stuck in but needs to work on distribution)

Vardy- 4 (Ran around as usual, poor service but looks a shadow of last season. Frustration probably led to yellow for foul on Song)

Ulloa- 4 (Ok in parts, ponderous at others)

Nugent- 6 (Looked quite lively, good run with awful finish, played with more purpose than normal)

Knocky- 5 (Usual energy but little end product)

Some really harsh ratings for Wasyl here imo. He didn't put a foot wrong all game.

Ref was a total joker, again. Every time Song hit the floor it was a free kick. The Ulloa booking was obscene. And then he jumped the shark when Ulloa was grabbed by Kouyate on the edge of the penalty area and had his ankles taken out by another West Ham defender.

Manager: 6 - He picked the team that most of us would have chosen, they seemed motivated, the substitutions made sense, but it was just one big struggle. In retrospect he should have picked Ulloa not Vardy against that defence.

Hamer 6 - Didn't do anything spectacular, but never really at fault

Simpson 5 - A steady game

Wasilewski 6 - Just about our best player today. It would have been worse without him

Morgan 5 - Better than of recent games, but not back to his best and looking a bit nervous

Konchesky 3 - I guess we won't be seeing him for a while after today. A strange game with a dreadful mistake, and again kicking the ball out of play needlessly, otherwise not dreadful...

Mahrez 5 - It didn't quite come off for him today

Cambiasso 5 - Tried to find the right pass, but again not his day

King 5 - Worked very hard and made a difference

Drinkwater 5 - Very gradually getting better closer to his best, but not quite there yet

Schlupp 5 - Looked much better at left back than left wing

Vardy 6 - Trying to do the impossible against four defenders much bigger than him

Ulloa 6 - Looked better when he came on....

Nugent 6 - ...and looked better when he came on
Knockaert 5 - reasonable substitute appearance

West Ham - Looked pretty good, and full of confidence. They also looked like they could step up a gear if needed

Referee - Gave  everything West Ham's way. I was sat with the West Ham fans and they were all laughing, thinking it was hilarious - that just about says it all...

Pearson - Stay

Danny Drinkwater looked probably the best player on the pitch never did anything wrong yesterday, most his passes found his man. Gave him a six I couldn't really give anybody higher than six, Konchesky got lowest I've ever gave a player a two, you could say he may have cost us the game. We we're doing alright before that goal went in.

On West Ham as I said on the other thread, they didn't actually create that many chances as I said they didn't to get into second gear to win. Probably the easiest three points they'll get this year, but they did look good and I can see them perhaps getting at least a europa league place this.
