lestajigs Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 I'm going for a 1.0 win, andy king 56min, attendance will probally reach 24500, if Pearson is appointed before!!
Narborough_fox Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 How come it's on a Sunday, egg chasers?
Corky Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 I can't remember being at an entertaining Leicester v Palace (in Leicester, the one at Selhurst Park last year was, despite the result). I hope it's exciting, but I can't see it. A win is crucial though.
lestajigs Posted 14 November 2011 Author Posted 14 November 2011 How come it's on a Sunday, egg chasers? Yea I think so
Fox92 Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 Palace don't concede a lot of goals. Having said that, our fans will be up for it, the players should take into consideration that a new manager is here, so I think we will win 1-0. Apparently, Crystal Palace are very good on the break as well. I think we have a good record against them at home. I can't remember the last time we lost to Palace at home; I know last year was a 1-1 draw I think.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 How come it's on a Sunday, egg chasers? Yep that's exactly the reason.. Pisses me off hugely.. Why can't the Tigers play on Sat I mean.. It's only rugby ain't it?

They have some quick lads in the team that counter attack with pace. Like I'd like us to have/do too..
HEGGSY Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 Why can't the Tigers play on Sat I mean.. It's only rugby ain't it? They are that's why were playing in Sunday.
The Doctor Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 Yep that's exactly the reason.. Pisses me off hugely.. Why can't the Tigers play on Sat I mean.. It's only rugby ain't it? TV I think - Tigers on SKY so we get shafted.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 They are that's why were playing in Sunday. I meant Sunday... Soz
steveherbe Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 What times ko? 3PM according to my ticket! First game of the season for me and son - well, it's a long way from Winchester, and even further from Bournemouth (Uni)
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 A thrilling 3-3 draw with end to end attacking football . . . .
Number 6 Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 Will go for: Kasper Tunchev Mills St Ledger Fernandes Abe Dyer King Peltier Nugent Beckford Subs: Schlupp, Konchesky, Wellens, Danns, Howard. Think we could pick up a win here. Will go 2-1, Nugent (2).
ajthefox Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 We'll nick it 1-0. The significance of doing so must not be under-estimated, even if does bring nps critics sharply back out of their dungeons.
accessory Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 An anti-climactic 0-0. Palace will come for the draw and we will fail to break them down. A replay of the cup game in 09 is on the cards. During Pearson's time in charge at Hull, they managed just 28 goals in 30 home league games. Maybe we should bring a book to read during matches?

You took the words right out of my mouth (it must have been while you were kissing me!) absolute banker..got £20 on it..get your selves off to the bookies quick!
accessory Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 You took the words right out of my mouth (it must have been while you were kissing me!) I somehow doubt it.. +1 for the Meatloaf ref though..
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 TV I think - Tigers on SKY so we get shafted. It was also because the police didn't want both games on the same day, don't know why because i can remember tigers on at 3pm when we played Ipswich last season at 12:45
accessory Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 That was because it was the last game of the season for both sides. Sky and BBC set the kickoff dates and times for the two leagues. City were due to play on the Sunday until the beeb found out the date clashed with a grand prix and had the fixtures moved to Saturday lunchtime.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 15 November 2011 Posted 15 November 2011 If Pearson will be in charge... Kasper Peltier - Mills - St. Ledger - Konchesky Dyer - Wellens - King - Gallagher Beckford - Nugent Subs: Weale, Pantsil, Johnson, Danns, Howard 2-0 with Howard and King getting the goals
