The two Downes fouls in 20 seconds didn’t amount to even a talking to, complete home bias / reactor to crowd noise. Awful and arrogant with it, complete prat.

Just had a-look-oat the team, good choice at left back .

Not just bad but odd. Do assessors watch them? What goes in the report. “Turned up, acted odd, made weird decisions, let big stuff go, clamped down on little stuff, all a bit odd.”

Leicester City vs Stoke (H) 22nd Nov 3pm - Pre match

Hi Soumare, welcome to the forum -
The completed Akinfenwa picture requires six individual stickers, Vestergaard's needs two and the manager section leaves a couple of spare spaces for the inevitable changes over the season.

Ready to back Scotland, from what I can recall it can be hard work though they do seem better set this time to make it through. For those looking to watch on TV you can find it on:- Sports Channel - First 20 minutes Drama Channel - Minutes 21-60 as they go 1-0 up Fantasy Channel - Minutes 61-75 as they go 2 up. Comedy Channel - Having got into great position, point gun at foot and pull trigger. 2-1, 2-2, Horror Channel - Last five minutes, miss an open goal, a sending off, things going pear shaped left right and centre. Nostalgia /History Channel - Added time, Gannon-Doak replicates Archie Gemmil’s weaving run to score the winner. ……Or BBC2

What a few days for Troy, goals in both games, the headline "Parrott Repeats" would sum it up. Maybe someone had rattled his cage.

'I Want People To Be Closer' - Khun Top Speaks

Just watched it......agree there's more waffle than a fat Belgian's breakfast buffet but i listened, tried to see things from his side. A couple of things made me angry, we won the Premier League and fans expect to win every season. Who? Maybe those for whom 2016 was their first season and it's all they knew but really? Last season our fans expected us to win the Premier League did they? Bull. Secondly the amount of laughing from both. People are paying £60 to watch a poorly selected, poorly prepared team, with little scope for improvement due to financial mis-management, struggling to get points against mobs of hungry young championship players on a third of their wages. Ha ha, it's hilarious isn't it, glad you find it so funny. Step 1 - Don't make this a one off but next time face questions that aren't so loaded and easy to answer. Step 2 - Do everything you can to sign Jordan James permanently ASAP. His age, passion and determination should be our model moving forwards. Step 3 - Never bloat the squad again with over-rated players on long deals even in order to cope with a season in Europe, take a few players on a season loan to cope with the fixture list instead. Step 4 - When you think about criticising our expectations take a glance at the likes of Bournemouth, Brentford, Brighton and Fulham and ask yourself how they manage to do what they do on their resources and how we're light years behind them now. Step 5 - Stop laughing, it's not funny.- 536 replies

Interim Managing Director Appointed
fazzyfox replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
A former services manager of Palmolive? With her insider knowledge on bulk buy and distribution we can expect superior hand soap in the loo’s, happy days, great appointment, looking forward to seeing / smelling the results of this. Faes and Hamza have already been pestering her for shampoo freebies, I couldn’t think of a better person to steer this malfunctioning, overspending, dis-organised, uncommunicative Football Club around -
Marti Cifuentes - Style of Play, Tactics and Analysis
fazzyfox replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
A few of the things that frustrated me, particularly on Saturday, you wonder if they're part of his instructions and philosophy or not:- Allowing the opposition all the time in the world to put their crosses in - I'm not talking about the situations where they've beaten a man and put a cross in front of players to attack, it's the deeper ones which yes are easier to defend but if you at least press the player, hurry him, get in his line of vision there's a chance he'll miscue the angle, over-hit or under hit. Standing and watching from a distance does none of that and gives them every chance of making it a decent ball in. It's often the full backs putting in these deeper crossed which falls on our wingers to be pressing them and getting close. The standing off was excruciating, it was like a crowd of fans watching a pro-golfer tee-off, admiring their technique. If you want to just watch buy a ticket like the rest of us. Sloppy passes when we've committed men forward - I don't want to be a hypocrite after bemoaning the large amount of safety first passes, I'd encourage them to play with more risk with balls that hurt the opposition but in situations where we've committed bodies forward and would be in a mess if the move breaks down, be sure of it, never gamble or hit a blind no-look pass like Fatawu did twice, inside behind the entire midfield who had run already ahead of him. And Vestergaards telegraphed "pass" which led to the goal, OK, try it if you've got plenty of bodies around but losing it there with the ratio of attack vs defence bodies was ludicrous. The phrases "Not There" and "You have to be sure" were in heavy use! Ayew Left Wing - Everything just ground to a halt, like a dead end street when it reached him, there was no chance of getting beyond his man and hurting them in the box. It's like a rugby style of territory gain with him, get it to him, he digs his heels in, shields the ball, draws the foul and we advance 20 yards, all well and good if we're seeing out a lead but at 0-0, at 0-1? Especially first half, no opponent full back is going to be tired enough to be beaten by him at that point. Monga is very good at that too but at least with him there's a chance he'll go at the man and beat him at times too. The thing Fatawu's right leg is propped on - Can he use his right at all? There were a couple of occasions where he'd beaten his man / men, had clear daylight to the near post, just needed to drill in a straight cross along the ground but instead did his usual cut inside on his left and curled one over the bar. Love to watch him play but sometimes mix it up, sometimes the simple thing can pay off, the straight direct ball into the 6 yard box, the bread and butter stuff over the worldie attempts. Probably trying to force the issue through frustration at how the games are going. At throw in's and free kicks I found myself yelling "Who wants it" time and time again (and found myself surrounded by ladies ), no movement, no one brave enough to want the ball when the going gets tough and inevitably we lose possession. It's a set piece that you have control of, it's a ball not a hot potato. And that was a game we won ! Marti, sort it out, Marti Marti sort it out please. -
He certainly has a face like one And is considered to be an a*** hole

Chants were bang out of order. Club have caused offence in their response though with the continued lack of awareness / tunnel vision to include the following quote:- “The people who represent Leicester City work with dedication and integrity every day, and with the Club’s best interests at heart. “ If I’d made errors at work for several years costing the organisation so many problems, lost so much money on unsuitable assets and repeatedly made the same mistakes over and over again I’d have the integrity to recognise that, accept that and putting their best interests at heart walk away so that I don’t steer them into even choppier waters.

If it was the verbals I saw, the young lad higher up was shouting about selling up (not just him) and the bloke lower down challenged him “To who?”, “Who’s going to buy us, they aren’t queueing up” etc. Then it got more heated with name calling. When he looked like heading up to confront I became a teenage girl outside a nightclub and said “Leave it, it’s not worth it”

Norwich 1-2 LCFC, post-match thread
fazzyfox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Agree (except for that last season where he was used a lot on the right). Ndidi, Tielemans and Maddison make for a good 6,8,10 example. Then when K DH arrived and Perez was finally deemed a weak link, Maddison went out wide but what was K DH, a second 8 alongside Youri? He scored a few goals but he carried it from deep and knitted things together so I wouldn’t say a no.10. The Lennon, Izzet, Savage trio albeit unique for their combined phenomenal workrate had Izzett as the more attacking, Savage solely a ball winner and ball of energy and Lennon a bit of both, win it and make the play. The classic in a 4-4-2 was Macalister and Mauchlen, the flair player and the hard man. Kante was 2 6’s and an 8 all in one and defied all laws of physics and sensibility! -
Norwich 1-2 LCFC, post-match thread

Agree, the substitutions and reaction to going behind made all the difference. Until then there was a lot of awful stuff, slow passing that was easily read, Vestergaards “pass” leading to their goal was so telegraphed by his stance and slow motion everyone in the stadium could see what he was going to do and sure enough it was intercepted and we were in the s**t. Sloppy balls behind the teammate , killing any momentum and progress, risky balls when numerous players had committed to forward runs, a lack of movement, a lack of wanting the ball and wanting to take responsibility at throws and free kicks in particular. Ayew was never threatening to go beyond his marker, it was a constant dead end. Mavididi tried to stretch them and go beyond them, DeCordova-Reid was playing on the front foot, always looking to hurt them with positive forward balls, trying to make something happen. Maybe it was the situation of trailing then drawing and of running out of time but it was an onslaught incomparable with the previous 70 minutes. The one constant was James, gave his all for 96 minutes . -
