  1. Fe-Fi-Fofana, I smell the blood of a panic buy.
  2. The way this transfer period is going, fairly likely that a Dennis Praet new contract is incoming.
  3. Just think of the confidence he'll regain when he has our dynamic attacking midfielders - Ndidi and Chaudhary - creating a wealth of chances for him...
  4. "Jordan Ayew to Roma. Here we go!'
  5. Not so much of an issue when you're moving down a division. Fairly significant if you're going up a division. When all our direct competitors have strengthened fairly well, our meandering approach is a huge concern.
  6. I’m beyond depressed at the thought of this season. It will be a car crash and the only poor sod who will suffer will be the manager, who will be replaced. Despite having both hands tied behind his back by a recruitment team that aren’t fit for purpose. The sheer level of contempt with which the club treat fans will reach boiling point despite them pulling out all the stops and offering us Yum Yums and Chang beer. Things will get so bad that even the cool ‘typical Foxes Talk overreactions’ crew will get on board the dissent train. Our contract hope of an improvement is Jordan Ayew. What merry hell is this?
  7. Finger on the pulse here. YTS ended 35 years ago.
  8. Here's hoping that Leeds bid for him, we match the bid and then he chooses Leeds. The implosion on here would tear the universe apart.
  9. As depressing as you may all feel now, imagine how depressed you're going to feel when you find out Ruskin has managed to negotiate the fee for Ayew as the same as the one we offered for Soule.
  10. This is a Brewster's Millions signing - someone has clearly been employed to waste what little money we have. I'll despair if we end up with him, just shows we've given this season up.
  11. Thing is, there's value in the transfer market. Spending £10m+ on Okoli, when his own fans were celebrating how much they were getting for him either proves they're totally clueless or (as is the Leicester way) we've paid over the odds for a player when there's been seemingly no competition for his signing. Meanwhile, Ronnie Edwards goes for £3.5m. Forest under Cooper picked up some decent players for good prices, such as Hudson-Odoi for around £3m, whereas there's always the feeling we're seen as an easy touch for an inflated fee. Then you have the other side of it where we overprice our players to the extent we just can't shift anyone. Last season we bought well, admittedly, But this season is a huge concern. I'd rather we spent £10m on 3-4 young, promising EFL players who have fire in their belly to succeed.
  12. Initials are Kieran KK, so KKK? That's pretty unfortunate.
  13. Ayew having a laugh?! Who's next? Jozy Altidore?
  14. I really think we need to step it up in terms of new signings. Just looking at the promoted clubs, I’m worried. Ipswich - Omari Hutchinson, Ben Johnson, Jacob Greaves, Liam Delap, Ari Muric (Total: c.€72m) Southampton - Adam Lallana, Rento Takoaka, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Charlie Taylor, Ronnie Edwards, Nathan Wood, Yukinari Sugawara, Flynn Downes, Khiani Shombe, Brook Myers, Juan, Wellington (Total: c.€54m) Us - Bobby Cordova-Reid, Michael Golding, Caleb Okoli, Fatawu, (Total:€36m) Just seems like we’ve stagnated and our competitors are trying to really improve their team. I appreciate there’s PSR concerns. We’ve been more considerably weakened by departures than the other two and Southampton also have a number of decent players returning from loans - including Alcaraz and Bella-Kotchap. I don’t put too much stock in pre-season friendliness but it’s abundantly clear we need to really step things up on the transfer front. We desperately need a striker and creativity in CM. For the love of Birch, please no more bloody CBs.
  15. No wonder Soumare struggles to get round the pitch, carrying that mahoosive head.
  16. The guy who won the Europa League last year. Non convinced that was a bullet dodged.
  17. Not claiming to be an ITK, but have friends that coach at Cobham and they're saying there's no chance that Chelsea will bid for him this Summer. They also said the chances of Chelsea bidding for him next Summer is very unlikely too - Maresca obviously likes him but the data analysts have other preferences and they tend to sway Boehly and pals. As such, they believe that the only reason Chelsea would need a new keeper next year is if this year goes badly - if that did happen Maresca would likely go anyway and so Mads would be even less likely to go there.
  18. People keep saying this but they don’t need him. They bought a new keeper earlier in the Summer and currently have 4.
  19. He’s 25 in December. He has potential to make a lot of money out of us, care of Rudkin.
  20. I think fan’s understanding of value for money has gone out of the window. Some of the same people who were moaning about the cost of Winks last year are saying this is a good buy. £15m for an Arsenal bench warmer who isn’t a priority position seems somewhat frivolous. We need a proper No. 10.
  21. We deserve to be relegated with that kit.
  22. If it were Spurs they would have organised the open top parade for it already.
