Guest Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Pretty sure he has. And that's why I mentioned a loan, like Isla's. 26 is the later stage of a career now? it's later than 21. d'oh
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Cambiasso could walk into the Barca team, and you know it Col Oh Christ almighty...
desertfox2 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Bloody Hell...Cambiasso this, Cambiasso that...its still going.. Why are people fooled by this argument that Cambiasso somehow did us a favour by joining Leicester? He was not offered another contract at Inter I believe? In footballing terms, he's an old geezer who Inter were willing to release. WE gave HIM another option. One of joining a newly promoted club, on a decent salary, to play in the Premiership. Now...since he's joined he's been nothing other than a model professional. But I assume he was very happy we gave him the chance. As for all this..'he could walk into any Premiership side'...no, he couldn't. If any of the bigger clubs had wanted him, they'd have gotten him. Because he's magic. Don't you know?
narboroughblue Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 I'd take Colback, thought he was about the only Newcastle player who looked interested and think he'd sit in our midfield nicely. Plus good delivery from set pieces.
ballisimo Posted 3 May 2015 Posted 3 May 2015 Huth- a must he has improved us no end. Trippier- solid RB would challenge RDL for a regular spot Bruno Martins Indi- longs shot as at Porto but would be ace. Van Djyk- better than our current CBs John obi mikel- would be amazing and do a lovely job at our level breaking up play and we can offer 1st team football. Yann Mvilla- got a bit of an attitude problem but his quality is undoubted. Mathieu Valbuena- another long shot but moved to Russia and would give us plenty of flair and creativity. Moussa Sissoko- poor mans yaya toure but when on song is a match winner. Mohammed Salah- out in the cold at chelsea but has talent just needs to find his confidence. Scott Sinclair- helped turn villas fortunes and is now about up to speed again and looks decent. Lacina Traore- huge striker would be an asset here and a good plan B. Either way money will have to be spent to get quality to push us on in the PL. I like the idea of Mikel personally.
desertfox2 Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 John obi mikel would be a great shout. Didn't realize he was only 28. Need a goalscoring midfielder in a 3 man centre midfield ideally with him and Cambiasso as he won't score. Would fit that system perfectly just in that holding role that way we wouldn't need 3 centre backs. Good shout would love it if we could get him in.

If we go with 3 in CM I would agree with that statement.... However..... I think that we will prob carry on with the 3-4-3 that we have been successful with in recent games. It requires wide midfielders that are willing to track back, which is why Schlupp and Albrighton have been favoured but allows Vardy to play in the whole were I think he has been a real danger.
desertfox2 Posted 4 May 2015 Posted 4 May 2015 I hope we put in a bid for nabil Fekir. Would cost 8m just what we need young goalscoring midfielder. Arsenal and man city interested. But his dad was saying he thinks man city would be a bad idea as he needs to be playing. He may go arsenal but probably the same in that he wouldn't play every week

Callabinho Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 I've heard we might be looking at Janmaat again. I'd take him in a heart beat.
conLAD logan Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Micah Richards free transfer? Needs to rebuild career and has a point to prove
Ric Flair Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 I've heard we might be looking at Janmaat again. I'd take him in a heart beat. I forgot we were heavily linked with him last summer. I agree, I think he's been their best player this season behind Cisse.
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Cambiasso Huth Micah Richards - replace Upson Kieran trippier- replace Simpson Javier Hernandez - replace Wood
shailen Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Micah Richards definitely on a free. He has something to prove and we need quality CBs at the club especially if we don't sign Huth
shailen Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Cleverly anyone. Still remember when he was with us on loan, I was sure he'd be a regular for England.
foxfanazer Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Cleverly anyone. Still remember when he was with us on loan, I was sure he'd be a regular for England.I don't think he's better than what we have.
LCFC FOX Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Huth Mings Trippier Sissoko Sinclair Jovetic And a couple of foreign players that our scouting system finds
desertfox2 Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Huth Trippier/janmaat/richards mings Fer Try for Nabil Fekir, says he doesn't want to go arsenal and sit on the bench bit like Krama with Chelski. Sinclair Austin. (Try for javier Hernandez first) obi mikel also wortg a shout. I still think we need to be looking at playing a 4-5-1 fluid formation to 4-3-3 like mourinho always uses to really push on
Guest Col city fan Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Why do people want Leroy Fer? I thought he'd be ok, but he's done nothing much for QPR has he? The only player I'd even consider taking from them is Austin. And I wouldn't be that bothered with him.
Scotch Posted 5 May 2015 Posted 5 May 2015 Izzaguire. Need a left back. Decent player but a dreadful LB. He pushes forward far to often without showing any effort to get back. His best season for Celtic coincided with Wanyamas best season, who spent most of his time covering for or Emilios jaunts forward. He just about gets away with it in the SPFL but he wouldnt be so lucky in the EPL. We do need a LB though. If we were looking at Celtic players, Mulgrew would be a much better option. Better than any LB we have, can cover CB and CDM to, being around the same quality as Moore and Hammond. He also has a great left foot, making him a danger from set plays. Would prob be cheaper than Emilio too.

Just watch a full qpr game and watch Fer closely, Very underated. Austin gets the plaudits for scoring goals but Fer is equally as important to them.
