Yes mate, used to be called barracuda. Last time I went during the day there were kids in there but not sure anymore as I live back in Leicester now.
Leeds Fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Just in regards to resting players. Are people suggesting it to allow them to recover or to protect them from injury? Firstly, they've all had a season with much less games that previous seasons and players have been rotated well thoughout. Yes the games have been played at a higher intensity, however the majority of the squad should be able to cope with 3 games in a week, with only 6 games left to play. How many weeks now have they only played 1 per week, they should all be in great shape. All of this, alongside our sports science team, we shouldn't be resting players at a crucial time of the season. If it's to protect players from injury, this is far too conservative, and it is the same for every game. Every game is a cup final, you don't rest players in cup finals. The worst thing to do would be weaken our team for Chelsea and possibly ship goals. The plan for me would be to go full strength for as long as possible, especially against Chelsea. If we do have fatigue issues, which is unlikely in most players cases, we can make changes when required. We have the depth to beat Newcastle, Sunderland, QPR, within our squad. What we don't have is the opportunity to surrender points to save players. Make changes when required and we'll beat the teams around us, make them for Chelsea and we'll shoot ourselves in the foot. Although I think Nige will set up with different personnel vs Chelsea for tactical reasons. I think he might bring back James or bring in Hammond to play alongside the current pair, aswell as bringing it back to 4 in defence, playing a defensive 4-5-1 with the ability to counter. We can't go and attack them throughout, they'll kill us. They're strong defensively and ferocious going forward. We need to try and keep it tight and hope to nick a goal or two. Even losing by the odd goal isn't a total disaster, we just can't afford to get hammered, for goal difference and for morale.

st albans fox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Decided we want to see a draw tomorrow at the Emirates That means Chelsea can't win the league on Wednesday. I don't want them to lose tomorrow. The chances of them losing and not getting a positive result in the game to follow are small. the worst result would be an arsenal win.

Bristol fox .... Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Im thinking that leicester wont lose against chelsea especially if costa plays as he will get sent off for retaliating to wasyl roughing and winding him up

Let's hope they get under his skin.
lgfualol Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I'd celebrate a draw like I celebrated our Man U win.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I'm not sure what to target - a points total, or considering who we're playing - key points from the likes of Burnley, Sunderland etc. Do you think 35 will be enough? That is very doable

That is very doable 35 pts would gaurentee staying up imo, 4 pts in next 2 games would do very nicely and would set us up for the newcastle game which if all goes well could see us safe infront of our home fans

How funny would it be, if after all of us writing us off (let's be honest...), and we have our safety confirmed before our last game. Not counting any chickens though. Lots of hard work left
Number 6 Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Interesting point from Ray Parlour on soccer am, would Chelsea rather seal the title at home then away at Leicester? I'm not suggesting they would deliberately not win against us but might not mind losing as much if they get to seal it at home. A draw or loss to Arsenal and they can seal it at home if they beat us.

This possibility was broached on this forum over a week ago. Don't agree in the slightest. Chelsea will want to wrap this as soon as possible...Fabregas has already said precisely that. Can you seriously see Mourinho 'not minding losing as much'. Chelsea will be out to make as emphatic statement as possible...and if Arsenal win tomorrow who also have a game in hand which they are likely to win, and then Leicester beat Chelsea the points gap at the top would only be four. Last year ManCity won the league with the last kick of the game. Chelsea will be out to demolish Leicester AND .... you forget, Costa is back.
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 you forget, Costa is back. Yes but don't you forget, Vardy is in form.... Now taking the proverbial bull by the bloody horns and steam rolling the premiership. Nobody can stop him now, not Heaton today, nor Terry on Wednesday Next year an England call up beckons, where vardy forfills a short but illustrious international career, gaining 28 caps scoring only 2 goals but an incredible 52 assists has his name written in folklore. After the world cup, a small province in siberia hail him as the second coming, and dedicate Sunday to him, now known as Jamie day. Their local rag is the Jamie daily. Weird sh1t happens to me on matchday...

Come 5pm, it'll either be absolute carnage or back to the doom and gloom of Foxestalk.

Costa is the sort of player I think Wes and Huth enjoy defending against, more physical. Like I said, don't think he'd want to lose but as a fan, waiting an extra 3 days to clinch it at home? Wouldn't mind it at all. Especially when it's pretty much nailed on, especially if they get something out of Arsenal. EDIT: to be fair, think that psychology is more likely to mean they accept a point at Arsenal than anything less than 3 against us.
I blame Wellens Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Get there as early as you can. Get a drink or 2 down you. Let's make the most noise the king power has ever witnessed. The rent boys will chant their usual chelsea chelsea continually. Let's drown them out. Can't wait.
David Hankey Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 It'll be a fantastic night and fantastic atmosphere, bring it on!!
CosbehFox Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Vardy had injections to play today. So he will be rested.
Guest Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I think we shouldn't be saying this is a can lose game. If we lose Sunderland and Hull have a game in hand over us. They are our competition not QPR and Burnley.
