The EU referendum - IN / OUT or Shake it all about.

Couple of dilema's for you from this post - Germany has prospered whilst being an ever more central part of the EU. It even joined the Euro. So does that identify that the EU can be good for a nation?

You criticise our wonderful leaders - but this not a vote about them and leaving potentially provides those very same leaders more over riding power and gives big business interest lobbying groups easier access to direct political action.

This is not the French Revolution, you do realise that. What'll happen if we vote out is that some other part of the establishment will take over and then continue to make self interest decisons. At least the EU Parliment has a broad range of MEP's across a political spectrum that means any legislation put forward needs to have broad appeal.

Germany rebuilt from scratch before the EU was even there by consciously and deliberately getting rid of bureaucracy and letting the country get on and rebuild itself. Sod all to do with being in the EU.

So basically the remain campaign is built on the following:-

Boris is a w@nker

Better the devil you know

Without migrant workers we wouldnt have an NHS

Not a great argument is it?

Whilst leaves arguement is basically a lie about the actual net cost and

I think the mainstream arguments for both leaving and remaining are the wrong ones but I suppose to interest a largely apathetic electorate they have to be.

Another thing that has annoyed me with the build up of this referendum is that neither side has really connected with the voters because there seems to be a reluctance to accept that there's positives to leaving and staying - it's been cast as black or white. Cameron in particular needed/needs to illustrate what will happen in the event of leaving the EU.

Newsnight is embarrassing right now, a labour mp (didn't catch his name) trotting out the Tories are going to destroy the country if we leave because they're going to dismantle workers rights because they're so hard right wing. The difference is we can easily vote out the Tories if that's true.

I have quite a big problem with this.

Neither side can give some actual tangible facts about whether we should stay in the EU or not and what benefits or costs this will come to us.

People will vote for whoever they like most, without any idea as to the consequences of their vote

And many will vote on extremely closed mined viewpoints ignoring everything else.

Like "Fvck immigration, shut the fvckin border man"

The average voter wants an easy decision to make, they want the reasons for and against presented plainly in front of their faces and it just can't happen because it's not an easy decision to make at all - you've got to look into and weigh up whats more of a concern to you because leaving certainly has its benefits as do remaining.

People will make an easy decision.

They wont look at any facts, theyll just use their own personal prejudice.

And thus ruin the whole point of the vote.

Eddie Izzard on Question Time is an embarrassment to remain. The bloke is just a ****ing clown.

Agreed, who next, Roy chubby Brown, Bernard Manning from the grave, White Dee???

I take back what I said about remain playing a smart game on who they put on television last week.

Eddie Izzard on Question Time and Nicola Sturgeon lecturing the English voter are suicidal decisions.

What we've established is that people are cvnts.

I've had poorly educated knuckledraggers bleat on about getting killed off and 'civil war' and nobheads on leave like Farage and Boris catering those morons and handfeeding them pointless bollocks. What part will immigration play in an independent Britain? Very fvcking little, seeing as we'll have economy and trade to negotiate, of which we've heard little of because all some mouthbreathers want to hear is how we'll 'kick out all the darkies' and reclaim the Empire or some equally stupid bollocks. Everything I want to hear discussed in future plans is fvcked off to the sides and make the entirety of Leave look like middle Englanders, which ain't true at all.

Meanwhile you have those who are taken the moral high ground and for a bit more attention on Facebook and Twitter laud Remain and call all Brexiters racists. I had to shut someone down today who literally said "voting Leave is for racists". Can you have a more intolerable, poisonous standpoint? They're on par with the bell pieces over at Britain First in terms of villainising people based solely on a broad and versatile viewpoint that could and it would be almost funny if it wasn't how tragic it is, seeing as they're supposed to be the 'example' in their own eyes. It's funny how they won't get back to you once you point out Corbyn was a Eurosceptic until he realised the only chance he had of having a decent crack of the elections was to unite the party as a majority behind leave.

Pretty firm on my vote now but I still have the occasional jitter, and the one thing I'll get petulant on is cvnts trying to affect people's vote with flat out bullying. They can fvck off.

Aren't all decisions based on personal prejudices? What have facts to do with anything? facts are based on past events, we are talking about the future.

You don't choose the food you eat, the person you marry or the team you support on facts or other peoples unimportant opinions. June 23rd, It's a multiple choice question with only two answer options, just go with what's right for you. If you really want to go with facts, just remember one, all politicians are self centred and untruthful.

I was just saying that your average lay person, im not trying to be ignorant, but they wont have enough to make a proper decision.

Yet theyll go and make a vote that will influence everyone and maybe for the worse.

To anyone who accuses the BBC of bias towards remain, look at QT tonight. 3 leave supporters against Benn on his own. Izzard has been as much use as a chocolate fire guard tonight. Done more damage than good.
