Just seen on sky that they have leicester at 33/1 to go down - let's hope the bookies have got this right , let's just hope Spurs turn up, and Kane gets his scoring boots back on !!

UP THE. CITY. - THIS IS KILLING ME

It's a win win situation all round nay bother. Put £15 on it you stand a potential outlay of at least £515 return if the dreaded drop happens. That will pay for next seasons season ticket if the worst does happen.

Not wanting us to go down and we stay up what's £15.

Bookies are stupid sometimes. Leicester never do easy, so anything can still happen I am surprised we have 33/1 odds. Apparently at the beginning of the week it was 40/1 so a few people must be lumping on?

Coral had us at 40/1 with a £20 free bet when you bet £5. I want more than anything for us to stay up but the £1k will soften the blow slightly. I assume a few foxes have done similar which is why the odds have dropped.

Jeez 40/1 that's mad. Would it be wrong to have a £5 on that?

Paddy power have us at 40/1 at the moment and have an offer for new customers - bet £10 and get a free £30 bet. Total return would be £1,610 if you put the full £40 on - actual cost to you would be a tenner.

Then WHEN we stay up you've only lost a few pints but if we do drop its a decent amount to cry in to!

I first bet against us West Ham at home this season and have done so every game since.

I'd like some credit for this run! Enjoying losing money at the moment.

Can you draw winnings from their 'free' money out, or do they hold it in your account so you can only use it to bet with?

It doesn't say anything in their terms and conditions about not being able to withdraw but it's a valid point.

It looks like the only rule is you do not get the free bet element returned in your winnings, which makes sense.

But anyway this is all hypothetical nobody will be winning this bet!!

Would you pay a tenner for Leicester to stay up?? Whats the harm in _potentially_ softening the blow - I'm sure all those parachute payments go a long way to softening the blow......

I don't consider it betting against our team - its a matter of perspective - more of an insurance.

I prey its a wasted tenner.

I don't get why people can't do it.

It's not like you're wanting the bet to come in. It's just a softener to the blow if the worst should happen.

Would you put money on one of your family dying? Why not it would soften the blow if they did?

Betting is not going to make it more or less likely to happen, realistically a lot of things have to go wrong for us to get relegated even if all results go against us this weekend and we end up back in the relegation on goal difference 1 less than Hull (worse case scenario) we still have already relegated QPR to play, at home, as the last game of the season and all we would need to do to survive is have a 1 goal better score line than Hull against Manchester United.

So any money, even a free bet, is a waste as we are very unlikely to go down, and betting against us is an act of betrayal, so why bother.

Couldn't agree more, I'd have paid a tenner at the start of last season to ensure we'd be promoted without a doubt!
