NewburyFox Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 It's a great goal and they play some great football..but it doesn't prove anything. They haven't scored enough goals this year and it's something Aitor will have to remedy. Bamford has gone back to Chelsea, Vossen has gone back to Genk (and I can't see boro buying him for £3m) so they've only got Kike, who's a bit of a donkey. They need two strikers and a left winger attacking wise, plus a RB, GK and probably another CB.
lgfualol Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 1. Middlesboro 2. Wolves 3. Ipswich 4. Hull 5. Derby 6. Burnley (if dyche stays) 7. Sheff Weds 8. Cardiff ye
MC Prussian Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Middlesbrough Blackburn Wolverhampton My favourites to push for promotion next season.
lestalee Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 Got a feeling Preston will make play offs ,Simon Grayson knows championship pretty well he's due a good season in that league they,ve got a good striker in Joe Garner...
Dan Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 Bristol City will make the top six. I'm having money on it. It really does look weak this year and they're looking a very decent side nowadays.
Finnaldo Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 Bristol City and Wednesday are my bet for a playoff spot.
Lamby Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 Bristol City and Wednesday are my bet for a playoff spot. But Wednesday are ****ing shite and belong in L2.
Jimothy Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Clement confirmed as Derby boss. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32955201
Jimothy Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 But Wednesday are ****ing shite and belong in L2. if Wednesday belong in League 2 (a division I don't have think they've ever dropped to), where the **** do Charlton belong! Some shit regional league sponsored by a builders merchant
Fox92 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Wednesday are shite. They are now owned by some rich people but their squad is still below average and their manager isn't exactly brilliant. They'll be nowhere near the play offs again.
Wymsey Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Wednesday are shite. They are now owned by some rich people but their squad is still below average and their manager isn't exactly brilliant. They'll be nowhere near the play offs again. Stevie May is a decent player.
Fox92 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Stevie May is a decent player. So is Keiren Westwood, a great goalkeeper, kept them in so many games last season.
MC Prussian Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Marinus Dijkhuizen appointed new Brentford manager: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32957307
Dan Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Wednesday are a big club but they, like Leeds, are complete nobodies on the pitch at the minute.
Wymsey Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Wednesday are a big club but they, like Leeds, are complete nobodies on the pitch at the minute. Think both clubs, obviously Leeds, have struggled with success possibly because of the 'background scenes' like ownership issues etc. Wouldn't mind these two in the PL, than Derby/Forest.
Guest Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Leeds appoint Rob Kelly as assistant head coach. I sense a redoubling of efforts on the horizon.....
Mikey Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Think the top 6 will consist of Hull, Boro, Derby, Wolves, Ipswich, Blackburn. No doubt either Preston or Bristol City will be around there as a promotes team always is.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 I sense a redoubling of efforts on the horizon..... Leeds are a smashing bunch of lads.
MC Prussian Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Derby are set to sign Andreas Weimann and Alex Pearce. That's Weimann's international career gone then.
Finnaldo Posted 3 June 2015 Posted 3 June 2015 Thank fvck we're out this League. Spent the early years of my Leicester supporting days from 2005 onwards with the pinnacle being 5th place in the 2009-10 season until we romped it and the thought of returning to the once-great-now-soulless clubs of Leeds. Forest and Bolton is literally the worst thing I could imagine below physical torture and death. Looks extremely weak at the moment. I reckon Rotherham will get midtable and that's saying something. Preston will be lower midtable as well and hopefully MK Dons will go down with 0 points and -120 goal difference and carry on that until at least the Southern Premier League. Perhaps another return to League One for Leeds?
