He looked comfortable in the first team at 16 (or how ever old he was). I liked him when he was here. If he didn't want to leave - for whatever reason - then perhaps he'd still be our left back and played a number of games like King. It's his own fault. He represented England at every level (apart from senior level) and at one time was apparently wanted by the likes of Everton and West Ham.

Perhaps his ratio will be much better with Derby in their league - think he will score a few for them as Derby got good quality players around him. Doubt he's better than Chris Martin.

Good signing for Derby, a full season playing in the championship, competing at the top (you'd imagine) will do his development the world of good as well.
