Sunderland definitely strike me as one of those clubs that might benefit from being relegated and starting again. As much as some of their supporters are dicks it's gotta be horrible watching that poverty every season

lol On MOTD2 Extra earlier Lawrenson was saying that Allardyce will be set up to draw and banging on about clean sheets relentlessly to his squad.

Why what happened?

They're just crap. They seem proper hungover every game. 6-2 up and barely a peep. Light applause at full time when they've won the game 6-2!! I know their expectations differ to ours but I know exactly who's games I'd enjoy more.

Very good win for them though that is. Can never sniff at six goals. Sunderland exactly as expected. If they don't go this year then they never will.

everton fans are weird, but i can see why they struggle to get up for some games. today for example, and our game vs them last year. everton's season is almost over in the league already. they're not good enough and haven't started well enough to finish top 4, they're not going to go down. every game at home against a crap team they think they should win and sometimes do win. it mustn't be much fun, really.

Felt a bit for Sunderland first half. Didn't deserve to be losing. Hit the post twice and on other days they could've gone in. Everton were class though in the end.

How good was Lukaku's cross for Kone's hat trick!?

Who do we want to lose this game? Bournemouth (relegation candidate) or Southampton (rival for Europe)?

Southampton, imo.

We don't look likely to be caught up in a relegation battle - it'd be nice for Southampton to remain 8 points behind us.

What happened to this "Bournemouth play really good football" bollocks. All they do is get the ball and hoof it up to Glen Murray who then loses it.

Also what a great free kick routine that was by Matt Ritchie.

Haven't they lost their creative players through injury?

A left back, a striker and a midfielder.

2 of which who were new signings so weren't part of the "great footballing team"

2-0. Cannot see a way back for Bournemouth. Plain sailing for Southampton. This'll be about 4-0.

Struggling to see a way Bournemouth will stay up.

just a reminder to those who missed it (probably everyone) ladbrokes priced up leicester vs bournemouth in a season match bet and we were 4/6. we were 4/6 to finish higher than bournemouth. !!!!!!!!!!!!

Plenty of pundits said Bournemouth would stay up and Leicester to go down. I stopped listening to fools years ago.

ive got that bet in my season long acca. can't remember the others. considered the biggest bet of my life on that but didnt really have enough money to have it tied up in a bet for 9 months.

we were priced us vs bournemouth as who would finish 17th and 18th i think. lol

Was always going to be a struggle for Bournemouth, but to lose their best striker and three other key players, they've got no chance. Get on 11/10 on them to go down while you can. They're as close to a banker for 20th in years.
