The Blur Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Based on you watching one game against Arsenal? I know it's encouraging but it's a bit early in his career to say that. No wonder the media is full of hype for English young players. Liverpool was absolutely ordinary today, they were very lucky. I also thought Benteke looked solid and Can should got a start.
atomicfox Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 I've had Sunderland to go down this season, they remind me of us during the Levine championship era, just treading water till the inevitable relegation.
ScouseFox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 brendan told local news that liverpool were "sensational" yesterday. gotta love that little troll.
JPM1983 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 They seem to think it does. Apparently it happened to a United player previously Not entirely the same, but I'm sure Wayne Rooney was sent off in pre season a few years ago, 3 match ban, and that carried over to the first team.
Danno Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I love how Sunderland always manage to employ the most frauds in their squad year on year. Kaboul, Cattermole, Rodwell, Johnson, Lens, Coates, Wickham..
Jimothy Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I love how Sunderland always manage to employ the most frauds in their squad year on year. Kaboul, Cattermole, Rodwell, Johnson, Lens, Coates, Wickham.. Wickham has gone
shen Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 I love how Sunderland always manage to employ the most frauds in their squad year on year. Kaboul, Cattermole, Rodwell, Johnson, Lens, Coates, Wickham.. Johnson is a decent player ?
shen Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 He's horrendous. That's pretty harsh. Granted, he was shit yesterday (bar a very nice assist for their first), but then so were all his teammates. He does seem very inconsistent though, but he's capable of some outstanding performances. We might not always agree with panel decisions, but you can't be horrendous and win a PotM award in the Prem...?
Fox92 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 West Brom sign Rondon. Approx £12 million. Great signing for them if he adapts to this league.
EnderbyFox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 West Brom sign Rondon. Approx £12 million. Great signing for them if he adapts to this league. He'll have to adapt to playing turgid Tony Pulis football
Dan Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Johnson's alright but wouldn't get in our side. Nowhere near the ability of Mahrez. Rondon's an ambitious signing. I'll give them that.
shen Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Very interesting signing by WBA. Wouldn't be surprised if he became as successful as Bony at Swansea.
kingcarr21 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Very interesting signing by WBA. Wouldn't be surprised if he became as successful as Bony at Swansea. My wife is from Venezuela and football isnt a big sport over there. Im intrigued as to how he gets on in the Prem. Looks a decent player whenever ive seen him play. I actually hope he is a success.
AKCJ Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Rondon is a unit and a half. He'll fit in but it probably means that Berahino is off. Which is probably better for us.
iamafox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Man City have made a £47m bid for Kevin De Bruyne. Totally outrageous. Also Joey Barton will undergo a medical at West Ham ahead of a free transfer move and Shaqiri is set to sign for Stoke.
Fox92 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 The Premier League have got to do something about all this money now. Clubs like Manchester City just throw money around. £47million (and this year on top of Sterling at £49million). It's ridiculous and soon everything's just going to be pointless.
AKCJ Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 De Bruyne is properly class. Him, Silva, Sterling and Aguero is a seriously frightening front 4.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 If they get KDB they'll have the best attack by ease
SomalianFox15 Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Surely there's some sort of financial fair play rule that Man City are breaking???
ScouseFox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 they'll still have fernando, delph and fernandinho in midfield and mangala in defence so there's not really anything to worry about.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Surely there's some sort of financial fair play rule that Man City are breaking??? they're exempt
iamafox Posted 10 August 2015 Posted 10 August 2015 Surely there's some sort of financial fair play rule that Man City are breaking??? That's what I was thinking. It's absolute bullshit their £49m cap was lifted so they could splash their money out again.
