lgfualol Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 How on earth did Arsenal manage to lose 2-0. Off to Reddit to see the meltdowns.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 They'd have been in a relegation battle with europa league
Far Post Gerry Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 I thought people said West Ham were mad to field a weakened side in Europe? Well there you go..... Far from ' never gonna win anyway', they won... The Stoke v Liverpool game is shockingly boring. Ridiculous comment. So they got knocked out of Europe on the off-chance that they might beat Arsenal? Crazy.
The Bear Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 trust me if you watched him every minute of every week you'd understand too, maybe when he joins arsenal/chelsea/bayern munich/psg in a year or two and you get to see him play a lot more you'll come back and agree after realising what a talent he is.I hope you're right as I like the look of him.
RowlattsFox Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Sat through 85mins and there's a goal when I nip the loo. Typical. Great strike, butland could have got more on it though.
FireFox Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Just realizing I have Mahrez, Albrighton, and Coutinho © all in my fantasy team. Pelle and Cisse too. Hoping Silva can pull some magic tomorrow. (I picked my team over a week ago not looking at the fixtures and forgot about it, first time ever playing this.)
Fox92 Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Better than Mahrez Only joking. Of course he's better than Mahrez. Cracking goal today again.
Dan Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 I've honestly not seen a single other side play better than we did this weekend. Early signs that the standard remains nothing special what so ever.
The Doctor Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Better than Mahrez Only joking. Scored fewer, did nothing else. All we've established this weekend is that Mahrez is better than Hazard and Sanchez.
lgfualol Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 I've honestly not seen a single other side play better than we did this weekend. Early signs that the standard remains nothing special what so ever. It helps we had Sunderland who were really awful.
foxfanazer Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 As if Sunderland hadn't had a bad enough weekend it's got worse. Their new signing Yann M'vila got sent off for their U21s game against Norwich for a headbutt. Violent conduct is a 3 match ban and it carries over to the first team games Their thread about it is hilarious
Wymsey Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 That Oxford player for West Ham is going to have a great future, imo.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 As if Sunderland hadn't had a bed enough weekend it's got worse. Their new signing Yann M'vila got sent off for their U21s game against Norwich for a headbutt. Violent conduct is a 3 match ban and it carries over to the first team games Their thread about it is hilarious Unfortunately I don't think it does carry over. That would have been amusing though.
foxfanazer Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Unfortunately I don't think it does carry over. That would have been amusing though. They seem to think it does. Apparently it happened to a United player previously
Stadt Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 That Oxford player for West Ham is going to have a great future, imo.Based on you watching one game against Arsenal? I know it's encouraging but it's a bit early in his career to say that.

Guest seanfox778 Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 Can see teams targeting M'Villa to wind him up all season now, he's bound to get a few reds this year. Hopefully they'll sign Barton as cover. Imagine Cattermole, Barton and M'Villa as their midfield.
Dan Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 I thought people said West Ham were mad to field a weakened side in Europe? Well there you go..... Far from ' never gonna win anyway', they won... The Stoke v Liverpool game is shockingly boring. Fair play to them for taking a vital step to their 12th placed finish. Good job they've not been lumbered with a Europa League run, eh? Great result for them to be fair. I'm amazed at that one. Playing a 16 year old defender away at Arsenal takes bollocks as well. All in all, a very shit opening weekend in which we actually look well worth the top spot. I honestly haven't thought any other side looks better than we did yesterday.
Dan Posted 9 August 2015 Posted 9 August 2015 It helps we had Sunderland who were really awful. Yeah it does. I can see them dropping and I've called it all summer. They're crap. They're full of 'OK' players for this level but no-one really that special and it's been the case for years. It's absolutely astonishing that they've not been relegated for as long as this. It cut to Advocaat after we went 3 up and you do just get the feeling... "why the hell did I not retire?".
