Far Post Gerry Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 I get mildly annoyed at commentators using first names, and first names on the back of shirts. pisses me right off actually. "Memphis"..........instead of Depay "Cedric".........instead of Soares ........ill let Alexis off, but those two can do one. I thought it was just me! This is one of my irrational pet hates. "Chicarito" was the worst - imagine an English player having "Little Pea" on the back of his shirt - it wouldn't be allowed! They should force everyone to wear their family name. I'm not sure why they should, but they should!
Grewks Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 If times get hard at any point...... At least we're not sunderland At least we're not that small Fans streaming out cos they're shit and spend **** all!

Good start to a song that. 2nd verse: At least we're not Sunderland At least we're not such clowns Booing our own team at half time because we're 2-0 down
weller54 Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 WHEN eggnog gets the sack from Sunderland... Is this a job for Pearson?????
Guest ttfn Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Wasn't really sure where to put this but our form over the last 11 games would be enough for 97 points over a season. Even stretching it back to the start of this calendar year we've taken 34 points from 21 games which would equate to 62 points. This really is an absolutely incredible run of form.
foxfanazer Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 WHEN eggnog gets the sack from Sunderland... Is this a job for Pearson?????Not sure he'd be too keen on Sunderland. They don't seem like you can build a project there which I think Nige will want. He changed so much here but they don't look like a progressive club

foxfanazer Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 it's got to the stage where im gonna be genuinely upset if we don't win the league the new invincibles maybe? In all seriousness though the quicker we get to that 40 point mark (don't think you'll need 40 to stay up this season) the better and then you can dare to dream of a top 8 position. Obviously still early days but we have an ambitious group of players and the foundations are there imo
Kitchandro Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Watching motd 2 extra with Danny mills, Charlie Adam and some journalist. Awful to hear them making out like mourinho is a genius for being a twat and that it's just mind games and it's ok because it sells papers. Did it ever occur to them that he is just a psychopathic cvnt? Or do they just reserve that judgement for nobodies like Pearson? Unbelievable the arse licking he gets.
AjcW Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Tell you one thing a lot of people are picking up on is mid table sides struggling to find good strikers/big squads. It's nice as a Leicester fan to think I'd be happy with our starting two strikers and our bench strikers to do a job.

How can we sing that? I remember us booing our team off after DRAWING in League One on several occasions.
Carl the Llama Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 What? How can we sing that? I remember us booing our team off after DRAWING in League One on several occasions. And they were roundly ridiculed on here iirc. Wouldn't put it past some of our fans to think it's acceptable though.
ousefox Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Charlie Adam is a surprisingly impressive pundit. He knows his stuff.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 Charlie Adam is a surprisingly impressive pundit. He knows his stuff. The pros are (on the whole!) much better than journalists that haven't played football since they were 16!

Asha Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 It's happened a lot, and for a long time. I remember Tyrone Mings Mears usually had 'Tye' on his shirt. Edit: I meant Tyrone Mears haha

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 16 August 2015 Posted 16 August 2015 I know he's not everyone's cup of johnsteader and I've always recieved dodgy looks or been ridiculed when I've said it in person, but I honestly believe Robbie Earle is a cracking little sky commentator. Robbie, if you're reading this - well played son, well played.
