FoxyPalace.com Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 After a few Tiger beers logic disappears!! More like Singa or Chang!
MooseBreath Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Maybe you're right, I've never been. My views are coloured by a few documentaries and a couple of people who've been. It's a popular stereotype in the West and particularly in Britain where it's regularly played on by the media and is practically a socially acceptable form of racism per Little Britain's 'Ting Tong' character and such. No doubt there is an element of truth to it but the potentially damaging thing for us is the reaction of the Thai people who are sensitive to their reputation abroad which manifests in general anti-foreigner sentiment. This is a country where Thaksin won an election with the message "foreigners go home". We might be able to brush it off as boys will be boys here but if it blows up in Thailand and the people see it as an affront to the country it may very well make the owners position untenable. The owners need their reputation at home more than they need this football club.
TOMBlcfc Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Why on earth would they sack Pearson or sell the club? These players are their employees, would they sell king power because a couple of idiots in the duty free shop did something like this? No, they would just deal with the issue. As for Pearson... Sack him why? I'm just saying the worse case scenario. The owners may think that Pearson Jnr may have been affected by his upbringing or something like that. Selling the club would just be to remove association, I'm sure they'd be able to buy another club in a heartbeat, Villa for example are looking for someone.I know none if this will happen, I'm just saying that you never know because they seem to share different ideals to how we run businesses in this country

Babylon Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 lick what now?Perhaps he was sending a postcard home and needed a stamp?
LCCFox96 Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 I'll be staggered if any are at the club within a week of them returning from Thailand! Adam Smith is out of contract anyway so cheerio pal, ideal opportunity to sack him off. As for the other two they should both be released with immediate effect for dragging the club's name into disrepute and racial abuse. The club have to sack these 3 melts. What they have done is equally as damaging for the club as Danny Simpson's domestic assault case. All they had to do was enjoy an all inclusive holiday in Thailand and not piss it up and these 3 clowns have an orgy, film it including racist remarks and send about online. What the **** is wrong with young footballers who think they have made it? Too much, too young.
Itsthejoeker Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 How do we know these lot are on the club tour? They could have just gone by themselves, I can't imagine the club would feel they need rewarding for all their hard work keeping us in the premier league?
Guest Col city fan Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Some of these young footballers really are scumbags. Some, quite vile young men. The racist stuff is surely going to offend the Thai owners. I doubt they can be publically seen as taking such comments as anything other than seriously. And for Pearson's son to be involved....if I was Nigel I'd be kicking his ass into oblivion as soon as he gets back home.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 What muppets just send them on their way and that'll be it.
Bert Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 I'm sure these are in Hong Kong at the 7's rather than than in Bangkok. Not that it matters but great journalism.
LCCFox96 Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Just can't get over how fecking stupid they are.No I don't think he did. It's surreal isn't it! Footballers have a reputation but this is next level. To film an orgy sex tape with prostitutes in a country where both are illegal, with your reputation in one of the best and well paid professions on the line, with knowledge it contains your faces and proof you used racial comments at people of the same ethnicity as your owners and the clubs owners is so far beyond stupid it's not true. It shows a sub 0 IQ and we don't need that level of idiocy and disrespect at our club. Sack them.
fantastic_mr_fox Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 The girls in the video are speaking Thai - this isn't Hong Kong.
Finn Claw II Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 You know it isn't obligatory to be a nob on holiday. The 'lads on tour' argument is bull-sh1t. If this was your daughter, mother or sister instead of three random Thai women you'd be outraged.
davieG Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 I'm sure these are in Hong Kong at the 7's rather than than in Bangkok. Not that it matters but great journalism. Not as part of the team http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/hong-kong-sevens-squad-announced-2471402.aspx#kt21LQ6KzWStoGwl.99
st albans fox Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Those saying their actions were 'fine' and 'typical behaviour' on here are idiots. I wonder if Nigel had a meeting with the players and told them before they went on the trip, they are representing the club and he will not tolerate any shit. Not fine but typical - I'm afraid young athletic men in a place like Bangkok - yes. I'm sure Nigel told them to behave. Having been to Bangkok, my impression is that the sex side is promoted and frowned upon at the same time. Very strange but that's the reality. how do you think these guys found these girls in their rooms? they can't speak Thai. Stuff gets thrown at you out there. on the street. It isn't hidden at all. It's nothing like here. Unless you have been, you couldn't imagine what it's like. There is a famous bar where the girls dance around on a stage with numbers in their wrists. It's like a bloody cattle market. Then you look up and see a glass ceiling and more girls dancing upstairs. All in short skirts and all with no underwear on. the most ridiculous place I've ever been to. if the club have taken young single men to Bangkok and left them unsupervised, then they surely can't be surprised by this result. They will be astonished by the fact it's been filmed.

cjslcfc Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Anyone who's worrying about the owners selling up or leaving the club because of this needs to calm down a little. Pretty much any big business will face a situation at some point where its employees have done something wrong and damaging like this. That doesn't mean they suddenly sell up and give up on the whole project! What will happen is at some point later today a statement will come out, something the club will have been working on all day, saying "do not condone actions" etc etc... and it's highly likely that they may also terminate the contracts of the 3 players as well. That will be the way the club deals with it. They will know that that's the best way to do it. I think people are desperate to fear the worst when not only is it illogical but also very unlikely. Edit: Also, they're definitely on the Thai tour. I know Hopper is anyway, so I'd assume the other 2 are.
EastAnglianFox Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Do any of them measure up to Ben Alnwick or Liam Lawrence in the Sunderland orgy attempt?
cjslcfc Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Pure stupidity..... But it's not career ending you think the like of Scunthorpe give a f**uck about what happened in Thailand I can tell you for a fact Scunthorpe won't be taking any of these players on! They were looking to take Hopper back on loan. Not now!!
Fox92 Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-the-papers-32949185 Any body want to see the front page its here It'll be on the Sun's front page this time next week where they claim it as an "exclusive" like usual.

foxes_rule1978 Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-the-papers-32949185 Any body want to see the front page its here Typical newspaper spin, prem stars? lmao... just to get more readers... "Prem stars" none of whom have ever played a league game for Leicester. Or in the premier league
foxychik Posted 31 May 2015 Posted 31 May 2015 Immediate sacking and sent home on the next flight is the only way to handle this - they are on a trip representing their employers not a lads jolly or a stag do - I can't think of any other occupation where this wouldn't be treated as gross misconduct. There is no excuse for this is taking the p*ss out of the club the fans and the owners - it's utter stupidity of the highest order.
