Anybody who has suggested that would probably make a decent living working for the red tops. If this was your daughter, mother or sister instead of three random Thai women you'd be outraged. We don't know for sure, but it's probably a good guess that they are actually prostitutes, given where they are and what's going on. So I'd probably be more miffed about my mum/sister being one of them.

The owners have paid for them to go and enjoy themselves, but the racial abuse of somebody of their culture is sure to annoy them, the ultimate example of disrespect, if I was the owners I would terminate their contracts. Take away the racial abuse, other than prove they are not very nice people, the way they talk to the Thai girls, there is not a lot in it, other than show how thick or arrogant they are to film it and sent it, so it's out there in the public domain. 3 naive young men who have hurt their careers for sometime.

Something that I personally wouldn't lower myself to, but let's not be naive, take away the racial side, and that they are footballers, young and old people use these services, and is acceptable in Thailand, Holland etc, doesn't mean it's the morality of its right, but it's common place, and accepted by many, many people. If you worry about exploitation of women in this case, the exploration of women and children worldwide is a major problems, and there is far worse explotation, like the politicians sex abuse ring in the 80's and 90's

Having been to Bangkok, my impression is that the sex side is promoted and frowned upon at the same time. It's like a bloody cattle market. Then you look up and see a glass ceiling and more girls dancing upstairs. All in short skirts and all with no underwear on. the most ridiculous place I've ever been to. if the club have taken young single men to Bangkok and left them unsupervised, then they surely can't be surprised by this result. They will be astonished by the fact it's been filmed. Stupid comments. Yes, in Bangkok the sex industry is very much in your face and white Western men are targeted for "business" more than other places. But why is this? Have you ever thought why those bar girls are there? Do you think they want to sell there bodies to scummy idiots like this? Those girls are working to send money home to support often two or three generations of the same family who live in rural (very poor) Thailand. These lads have been damn stupid in what they have done here and the stupidest one has to be the one who shared the video back home probably to a disgruntled old mate who either didn't make the cut or not invited on the tour and thought he could make a few quid out of the video?! Just the sort of negative publicity we don't need i bet big Nigel is fuming !! God knows what the owners are thinking but as some over reacted and stupid posts they certainly won't sell up but I'm hoping this doesn't give us anymore bad publicity and blown out of proportion and the papers don't start dragging up the la manga rubbish up again!

The man on the street just sees it as the shameful behaviour of a few youth wannabes, yet to have anyone tell me LCFC are a disgrace. I'd expected all media outlets to be going into hyerdrive on this today, but outside of the Mirror there seems to be very little mention of it. The BBC are deafeningly silent on the whole affair... Edit: Obviously I still wanna see retribution here, I'm just pondering that it isn't as disastrous for the club's image as first feared.

I'm going to take a punt here and say most if the girls that end up in prostitution aren't doing it because it's their first career choice ... they are still human beings after all. The facts are ...1, They did something stupid 2, they did something more stupid by videoing it and sending it to their mates 3, the most stupid thing they weren't doing this in their own time they were on a 'work trip' I'm sure if anyone of us normal working folk decided to have an orgy ( paid for it not ) video it - send it to our mates, expect it not to be shared - on a work trip. We'd be out if a job quicker than we could blink.

I think you're underestimating the importance to the owners of maintaining their reputation at home. The money they make from us is peanuts to them, their whole purpose of being here is to promote their business. If the club is now associated with this event, that concept is well and truly spoiled and therefore they would no longer have any reason to be here. All depends on the reaction of the Thai people. The story is currently headline and most-viewed news on thairath which is their biggest newspaper, and there is a poll which appears to show a strong negative reaction. The owners reaction will need to be equally strong. Whether that extends to disassociating themselves with the club I have no idea, but I wouldn't rule it out.

Or, more accurately, i don't think Nigel will sack his idiot son. I think they will be sent home, fined two weeks wages and sent on an 'equal opportunities awareness' course. Np will sack his son. He will not treat him any more favorably than the others unless his part in it was to a lesser extent. Which looking at the bid it isn't. No is not the sort if man to shy away from making a decision like this though that decision may be down to Whelan or the Top himself. Not really down to NP is it?! The owners/board do the hiring and firing, i'm sure NP has imput but the final decision is down to the board. I've just been speaking to someone who genuinely said 'They should sack Nigel too' Any opportunity to get rid with some people...Unbelievable.

What makes it even worse is the fact that it is the managers son and our owners are the race which is being offended..!! ( not that it matters which race was offended) Sad end to a great season....
