Premier League stars' racist orgy shame caught on camera during Thailand tour

This is all about respect (or lack of).

I’ve no objection to a footballer using a prostitute if that’s what turns him on.

It’s the arrogance and superiority with which these lads speak to the girls which is hard to bear.  The very fact that they chose to video the girls whilst humiliating them speaks volumes about the character of these three lads.

A good chunk of our fans are women and young girls. How are they supposed to support and cheer for players who treat women in such a way?

Would I take my little girl to support a team in which any of these three lads were playing? Would I wait outside the stadium and let my daughter take a ‘selfie’ with one of these lads, smiling, with his arm around her?  Would I want any of these 3 City players coming to her school as part of their community role, to take a training session?

No I would not.

There’s only one way this will end and that’s with the release or termination of the players’ contracts.

The only real question for City fans is whether Nigel Pearson will feel able to support the decision to sack his own son, and continue as our Manager.

Agree, with everything there.

Interesting point on NP, hadn't really thought of that. I think NP is principled regarding behavior and would be one of the 1st to agree that if, after due process, would be in favour of dismissal. But I don't know the relationship he has with his son & I don't therefore know his reaction to what seems inevitable.

Hopefully Pearson stays well out of it, and lets the process take its course.

I think he will do, it's a matter for the board, but as the club manager he'll have to make statements on the action & as there's international interest, his private matter for the club answer won't be sufficient, so he'll have to come down on one side of the fence or the other & you can presume he'll either have to back the board's actions or walkaway... Maybe JP's contract expiring in June will be the get-iout, as surely if he'd be being retained he would have been offered a new deal before now?

Btw it wasn't a tour or a promotional visit

It was a paid holiday

BTW: The club has already said

"Our players at every level are expected to behave as representatives and ambassadors for our Football Club, both on official Club duty and in their personal lives, so we treat their conduct extremely seriously."

Clearly they didn't read the entire thread, or even the club press release.

I hope he/she feels welcome though.

Didn't you call me naive, young and thick for claiming I knew about the sex-trade?  Oh the irony.

You suggested that women who were forced into it were a staggering minority, and if you believe that then you are naive, young and thick.

The accusation of racism has a huge irony in the sense that they were prepared to have sex with people of a different race.

Hummmm

I think I've had chopper and hannibal lectar as well... I'm guessing they were referring to one of those ;)

That was me with a little gentle ribbing about the correlation between your Hannibal Lecter avatar and the biting nature of your posts, I think.

Being savaged by a cuddly teddy bear is probably even scarier, though.  :D

Not sure you should have had your chopper as an avatar, though. You could be in as much trouble as these 3 idiots out in Thailand.

I'm almost feeling sorry for the morons now. They'll never live this down as long as they live, will they? If they do get sacked/released, will even a lower league club want to take them on, given the bad publicity? If they leave football, they'll presumably have to tell prospective employers in other sectors why they changed job. Meanwhile, most people who know them and many who get to know them in the future will know about this depraved debacle. Was it worth it, lads? Was it a great laugh?  :o

On a more selfish note, I hope that this doesn't remove NP's appetite for his project at LCFC. Even if he's quite happy with whatever penalty his son faces, it will be difficult for him continuing to give his all to LCFC as an employer if they've (justifiably) chucked his son onto the dole in disgrace. Could be a difficult thing for NP to get over, this. Why, oh why did he ever bring his son here? Couldn't he have just put a word in for him at some lower-league club?

The fact that these women were prostitutes is irrelevant. I don't even think it matters if it's a club tour or not.

This isn’t about the rights and wrongs of prostitution. It’s about basic levels of respect for other people.

If I saw a City player telling a MacDonald's burger-flipper to “Gimme a big mac you slit-eyed minger”, then my reaction would be the same. I wouldn't want to see that player in a City shirt. End of.

Why would the club need to remind adults of their responsibilities all the time? It's not a school trip, appropriate behaviour should be something that comes with no instruction.

I find some of the "owners will sell up, because of this" comments f*****g ridiculous

Good job you weren't around when some were rubbishing cambiasso prior to his signing, your head would have exploded! lol

I realised I was wrong and held my hands up. Do I have to go over this again?

I think in the long run - the only one who's career will be really affected by it is Hopper's (if he is the one that made the racist remark, I believe he was but someone may correct me).

The rest might be able to get passed it if they can handle the large amount of stick they're going to get from fans.

Though, its not really like any of the 3 looked destined to have massive careers anyway.

I've got it:

Perhaps if the 3 lads were prepared to marry the Thai prostitutes... then they could stay at the club.

Everybody's happy. :D

That would be very funny.

A colleague of my wife got knocked up, her American faith based organisation told her to get married to the guy or risk losing her job. That is not a joke.

Want a hand getting off your high horse?

Want a hand getting educated?

And the pair of you think it's appropriate to be discussing hand jobs?

People saying they'll never play for anyone again

If Lee Hughes can have a football career after what he did, then I'm sure these 3 will be ok

That's because Lee Hughes could play football.

Here here! lol Another do-gooding lefty throwing insults about with no evidence to back up their own argument.

We haven't seen GTF in a while...

SORRY. That was awful.
