Would you have a go at someone declaring Paris to be the capital of France for not providing their evidence? The evidence is there if you want to read up on it, a keystroke away, but people trafficking and the exploitation of those people, both sexually and non-sexually, is common knowledge.

promised land Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Why would the club need to remind adults of their responsibilities all the time? It's not a school trip, appropriate behaviour should be something that comes with no instruction. Footballers by their very nature never really grow up, they are blessed with skill at a very early age normally and are constantly surrounded by their own age groups, so when the likes of you and me left school and got a job we were working with adults of all ages so the chance to mess about like kids doesn't come along. Other than managers and staff all the players are within a year or two of the same age so it's a lads outing all the time as they are only training for short periods of time. So older staff aren't always with them. They have a duty to represent the club and respect the country they're in but as they are immature they don't regonise it. Not one of them should play for the club again regardless of how good any of them are.

We don't know the half of it, were the girls planted? Were the players drugged? I'm not suggesting that what they did is defensible. But if we sack them and it turns out that they were drugged and lured into this, then the club would be liable. If they were lured into it why would they send the video out? I'm still yet to find a defence for this that isn't ridiculous.

The lads treated women badly, there was a racist comment and the video was leaked. They brought the club into disrepute while on a paid trip to the owners country.

As the managers son he should have been acutely aware of how his actions could affect the club. I won't hold my breath for a reply. I also believe that Matty James would have a pretty solid case against them on grounds of defamation.
