benpicko Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 If we get Okazaki and continue to play how we do I can see both Okazaki and Kramarić starting over Ulloa, so depending on how that works out there may be a chance of something around January but right now we still need him.
Gerard Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 I'd be happy to sell any of our strikers for the right money. However, if you want to buy a first choice striker who is not up for sale in the PL then you pay through the nose.
foxoffderby Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Isn't he an expert on Spanish football anyway? Why would he know about West Brom and Palace's targets? Benteke doesn't play for either of those teams either. He's also got the Ulloa's goal stat wrong. 13 in all competitions. Amazes me when certain Sky Sports employees always get their stats wrong. Conclusion: Bullshit Ulloa played Spanish football before signing for Brighton. Thats the only link I can think of, maybe his agent is Spanish.
Steven Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Guillem Balague @GuillemBalague 4h4 hours ago Ulloa attracting interest at West Brom and Palace after 14 goals in his first season at Leicester. Perhaps as a replacement for Benteke?

lcfcsnow Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 We struggled most of the year to fit him into our system, our best form came once we realised we needed Vardy as the main striker. I'd let him go for a decent fee, may be the last chance we get of recouping what we paid for as it'll be near on impossible to replicate this seasons goal tally next year.

He played upfront alongside Vardy and did brilliantly in our good run...

He's decent enough but he's no more than an average PL player. If you get eight figure offers for these kind of players in their late 20's then that has to be given serious consideration.
AyewJoking Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Paid over the odds for Ulloa but his goals helped ensure survival so he was more than a bargain. I think if we were to sell we'd accept the amount we bought him for, maybe less.

Steven Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Do you ever read through a thread before posting? A better question would be why did you post that. Reaching for confrontation first is never a good ploy.
4everfox Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 WBA have a great history but in current times it'd be a sideways step at best. If we are using history as the sole basis for deciding who is a big club then Forest are bigger then Leicester (they're not) and Preston are one of the biggest clubs in the country (they're not).
AyewJoking Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 is that statement not slightly contradictory? depends how you read it. i should have dumbed it down and said seemed like we paid over the odds at the time.
Corky Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Ulloa scored 14 goals in his debut Premier League campaign for Leicester, helping Nigel Pearson's side avoid the drop, and his exploits has attracted the attention of both Palace manager Nigel Pearson and West Brom boss Tony Pulis, according to the Croydon Advertiser. http://www.football365.com/news/21554/9872064/Palace-WBA-Want-Ulloa Palace have also taken our manager according to F365.
Danno Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Maybe it was that goal against Liverpool when we lost 3-1.
Stadt Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Expert bullshitter, sky sports seem to think he's a transfer oracle
Danno Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Remember when he was completely wrong about Herrera signing for United and made up something about imposters pretending to be United officials?
4everfox Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 At the end of the day he isn't much more then a pundit and this speculation has about as much credibility to it as if Paul Merson said it.
Number 6 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Don't think we're going to be looking to offload our top scorer anytime soon. Would have to be silly money as would be a gamble getting someone new to the system in.
Dan Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 He will have some kind of contacts in Spain but that's a pretty amateurish tweet to put out. Replace Benteke? Yet names two clubs who don't have Benteke? Baffling.
VLC86 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 Hahaha he's going nowhere If he's bound and gagged in your basement you do realise he can't play right?
muzzy1981 Posted 1 June 2015 Posted 1 June 2015 People saying get rid seriously haven't got a clue, you are either very negative or naive. We need to keep all players who played a significant part in our survival and I'd say being top goal scorer ticks that box. Let's build not destroy.
