Jam Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 I don't think Krama is overrated, he just needed time to adjust. He'll prove them wrong next year, I have no doubt about that. Agreed. Always hard coming in at January. Let alone from a completely different league. Couple those two factors with him also being a striker coming in when we needed goals desperately and no wonder he didnt make an immediate impact with that kind of pressure straight away. Next year he will come good. Very technically gifted.
ScouseFox Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Ours is surely schlupp nowadays? People saying they wouldn't take 20 mill, claims he'll soon be worth 50 million quid?! He's great on his day and superb entertainment but he's still just an alright premier league player. Maybe not even that yet.
foxfanazer Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Dzeko is 100% not overrated. No he's quality. So underrated and underplayed
cc_star Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Most overrated player in the Prem last season was Gerrard, an embarrassment to his past. To hear the papers & pundits jizzing over him was laughable. Ours is either pre-injury Schmeichel, or Cambiasso until Everton away. Both were the very definition of overrated.... HOWEVER, since then, along with Vardy they were absolute class & our savior's.
AKCJ Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Arsenal - Gibbs Never an England international. He's moderately quick and thats it. Aston Villa - Westwood Awful. Burnley - Everyone. "They have so much desire and have been so unlucky" Chelsea - Cahill Tough to pick, but I don't think he'd be a title winning defender if it wasn't for his peers. Everton - Barkley Run a bit then shoot and miss. Repeat. Hull - Huddlestone Proper lazy but can pick out a pass so apparently he's Xavi. Leicester - Vardy Lets be honest, he's the right man for us and somewhat irreplaceable...but 15m and an England International? I'm not sure Liverpool - Coutinho A few long range stunners have made him a world beater apparently. He's very good, but nowhere near as good as people make out. Manchester City - Hart Makes too many stupid mistakes. Awesome on his day though. Manchester United - Rooney "He's playing out of position" is the cry wherever he plays. He's just not as good as we think. Newcastle - Collocini Routinely found out. Not been good for a long while. QPR - Caulker Not delivered on his massive potential yet. Plenty of time though, could still be a good player to get at the right price. Southampton - Tadic A few fancy flicks doesn't make him a world beater. Stoke City - Huth He's rubbish, they should get rid Sunderland - Wickham See Caulker. Swansea - Bartley Stealing a living. Tottenham - Townsend Just bloody awful. See Barkley. West Brom - Ideye A few goals at the end of the season has made people think he's actually good. West Ham - Downling. Good start to the year but he's gone back to the same old Downing.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 This is my list of players. I left us blank Chelsea - Cesar Azpilicueta Liverpool - Adam Lallana Tottenham - Hugo Lloris wot
bovril Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 I agree with AKCJ on Vardy, as much as I love the guy (JV not AKCJ).
Sir Steve Howard Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 villa: grealish man city: kompany qpr: barton spurs: harry kane (most overrated player in the whole wide world) also harry kane, harry kane, harry kane, harry kane, harry kane and harry kane
Fox92 Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 At some of you. I mean, Lloris wtf he's one of the best goalkeepers in the division. Wilshere is quality too. Just a shame England usually use him wrong and try to play him holding.
LAprice_ Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 I'd say Leicester's most over rated player is Vardy. We know he's good but he's not THAT good.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Can completely understand Kramaric, yeah we hope he'll come good and he's shown promise but if any of our rivals forked out £7-£10m on a striker in January who scored a couple of meaningless goals and barely got a look in when we were playing well you can bet the vast majority of us would be ripping the player and the club to bits.
My Nads Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Kramaric overrated? I've never heard of anyone say he is a superstar. Our most overrated player without a doubt has got to be Schmeichel. Overrated means the pundits and press always talk about them as if they are "world class", but most of the time their performances are bang average. How Rooney isn't on that list is beyond me! He's been the the worlds most over rated player ever since he signed for Man U.

It doesn't mean he is overrated though. £7m wont even buy a good championship player anymore.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 Yeah, I agree completely but I think we're being patient with him and looking at things with blue tinted glasses, somewhat. If the same scenario was being played out at another club loads of people would be claiming he was a complete flop considering the reputation he came with, along with his goalscoring exploits at his last club.

At some other clubs, I think he might well have been a flop, but Nige has shown fantastic management again. He didn't just throw him in the deep end like a lot of managers would. He'll do what's best from the lad and when he's ready he'll be a much better player for it.
shailen Posted 16 June 2015 Posted 16 June 2015 wot A lot of pundits think Azpilicueta is the best defender in the league. Do not rate Lallana too highly because he is so inconsistent. Lloris is not as good as he is made out to be. Some people think he's one of the best keepers in the world. Never said these are not good players, but just overrated by the general consensus.

Azpilicueta is a superb defender, evidenced by the fact that he's so comfortable at LB despite being right footed. Obviously going forward he isn't as effective but defensively he's a rock, and Lloris is far too good for Spurs. He should be at a top Champions League club. Ours has to be Kasper. He had a brilliant end to the season (helped by having Huth in front of him to lessen the aerial pressure on him), but in the summer he was linked with Champions League. He has too many obvious flaws for that level of football. Unless he improves considerably in his dominance of the box, we're the best he'll get as a first choice keeper.

Despite not being a natural left back Azpilicueta has managed to keep Felipe Luis out of a Mourinho side and has been an integral part of the tightest defence in the league. He's superb. Lloris is one of the best keepers in the world....
Sampson Posted 17 June 2015 Posted 17 June 2015 I think our most overrated player is Matty James. Had a largely poor season and we looked much better whenever King was in the side over him, but he never gets the criticism other players who've been no worse like Drinkwater or De Laet get.

Don't think any of those three players have been bad at all. James was well in his stride before injury. Top player who gives us strength in centre midfield.
