Guest Mee-9 Posted 27 June 2015 Posted 27 June 2015 He's in exile after his lad exposed the family jewels...
Thracian Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 At this time I don't suppose it matters much where he is. I'd imagine like others that he's on holiday but he might be helping his lad pick up and mend the pieces of a shattered career. Seems to me that such deals as can be done are being done at the moment and if that means the boss has been delegating to trusted helpers then I can't see a problem. Staff will have been briefed and the phone ready charged in case of an hiccup or emergency so I really don't see the world ending because the manager's having time out..
Webbo Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Obviously with what's happened in Thailand the press are dying to goad Nige into a response. It makes sense to avoid the press for as long as possible.
sylofox Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 Was just going to say. No Nige it is all about the new player. With Nige 50 questions about his lad then some jurno would ask what did you say the new player was called Nige?
Oxfordfox83 Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 probs got his head stuck in the sand on holiday and can't get it out. He can, you can't.
AyewJoking Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 And as usual, people can't spell, and use question marks where they don't belong. And some pedantic bore feels the need to point it out. It's 7.40am and I'm grumpy already...... Did you really need that comma in the first sentence?
Corky Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 as usual lately from this forum two totally retarded answers from what is a genuine question , im sure fans of other teams would question why there manager has not commented or not been involved in the signings of a) a player he has desperatly been after all summer and b) a player who is one of our top 3 record ever transfer buys ? ill prob pop over to the 606 forums where actual fans seem to want to talk football about their own club Yes it's a genuine question. It's also one that we can't answer. We haven't a clue where Pearson is- he could be on holiday, at home, at the club, who knows? Pearson will probably tell us what he thinks at the first day of pre-season, he did last year.
Rincewind Posted 28 June 2015 Posted 28 June 2015 There is noone at the club at the moment but Doris the cleaner but she supports Forest so won't give you a polite answer. I would imagine LCFC is not the only club that is short on comments regarding transfers (apart from the top 3) wait till a few weeks before the season starts there will be rumours galore..
iancognito Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 There's no conspiracy here, the squad had the post-season in Thailand which Nigel had to attend, there was the obvious fall out from the kids knobbing the prostitutes which needed sorting when they got back and then he's gone away for a week or two at the end of a season that was pretty sapping for everyone let alone him. The striker isn't an owners signing, anyone with an eye on transfer news knows that we were trying to get Okazaki for the last 3 windows. The owners want us to have Asains in the squad but aren't stupid enough to put in sub-standard guff just to sell more shirts, this is why we have an international academy to develop asian and other foreign players. I think you'll find very few Premier managers have been around to announce any signings, not just Nige.
MIAMI_FOX Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 ok we have just signed okazaki for 7 million pound which is one of our highest transfer fees paid for a player and not a word from nige just a quick 50 secs video from steve walsh . also we got huth and nothing from pearson to say how pleased he is fuchs signed and i dont think ive seen anything from nigel on that one either ? reckon hes got the hump from his lad being sacked ? Jesus it's always something wrong with Nigel. Give the bloke a break
Raw Dykes Posted 29 June 2015 Posted 29 June 2015 Did you really need that comma in the first sentence? Don't get me started. The amount of comma abuse on this forum is unreal. We need an Operation Yewtree to protect the poor, defenceless punctuation from these sick, perverted animals. You know who you are. Seriously though, to the people using them every other word, Go easy on the commas.

I'm a weak man I need the use of exclamation marks!!!! I expect Nigel will be back this week to just make sure everything is set up for pre-season. What I want to know is what about poor old Steve Walsh? When did he get a break? (Went for the double question mark there rather than the more obvious choice of a comma!!)
