The Doctor Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Wasyl for gaffer. Gwon. I'd go for that just to watch him and Mourinho clash during a match.
dorsetboy Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I'm sure klopp and Sam said they both want a year out of football ,dyche would be the most hated appointment ever. Cambiasso has massive input last year but I think jumping in at that level would be a step to far. Bring in harry and go bust in a couple of years. Not many worthy people left
Mint_Fox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I'd quite like Gary Rowatt. It won't be him, it'll be someone the owners think is more glamorous, but I reckon he'd be good. I think he'd be a great choice.
The Doctor Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/nigel-pearson-sacked-7-possible-5977428 O'Neill, Lennon, Allardyce, Moyes, Howe, Lambert, Phillips - christ that list is depressing
MC Prussian Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Klopp won't come here Di Matteo's record since his title with Chelsea has been underwhelming to say the least Dyche just can't come here or else there will be riots Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher - oh dear, please stick to punditry and let us hit the mute button O'Neill wouldn't want to tarnish his own reputation - plus, I think he's lost his coaching swagger Allardyce is a "meh" choice Cambiasso doesn't have the necessary coaching badges as far as I know and has zero experience as a manager Hiddink would be a hideous decision Laudrup sounds sensible Why would Moyes want to leave Real Sociedad behind? Lambert has a proven track record in the Premier League - in playing dull football with little sucess Lennon won't come and I don't think he'd be an upgrade on Pearson at all
Bayfox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 that's a bit like saying - let's go out to eat - what do you fancy? - Wetherspoons or the Ritz I'd take eating out reece witherspoon over a box of crackers anyday. Oh sorry. Wrong thread.
Spiritwalker Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 After some serious consideration I'm going for Big Sam. Those saying it shows a lack of ambition just staying in the Prem should have a proper think about things
Dan Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Moyes or Allardyce I guess. May as well give Klopp a call, he likes a project, chuck some cash at it him and a war chest - he would match their ambitions. Nothing to lose on that one With you there. Unlikely but won't hurt having a go.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Let's hope the owners have an ace up their sleeve.
Max Power Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Vincenzo Montella! Best left field shout in the thread. It WILL be Allardyce though.
Mikey Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 If it is Allardyce then don't see how it could be a difference in ambition between the owners and Pearson. I'm sure Allardyce would keep us up but I'm sure Nige would have too and hopefully been able to kick on.
Dan Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Cocu? DeBoer? Jemez? ANY ONE BUT ANY OF THE NAMES ON THESE LISTS Now there is a shout.
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Karanka? It would not shock me at all if Gibson binned Karanka and freed the path to get Pearson in at Middlesborough. And that would probably see them promoted. I guess Karanka would be a considerable sum to pay off though.
Izzy muzzit Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Jurgen klopp! IMO there are no managers in the betting odd who surpass Pearson. This will have made all the haters happy tho...
Dan Gliballs Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Allardyce all day long for me. Well actually I'd quite like Mourinho but as that's not going to happen I'd say Allardyce is the best of the proposed list of candidates.
