Stevosevic Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 Hammond isn't a Pearson mate. He's only been two years, and has played under many managers and acted professionally throughout his career.

jamesmilner Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 I'm not sure why players are signing and the club signing players when managerless ? Who knows what the new managers ways of playing etc are for any player that's already here , never mind newbies !! Who says he won't bring in his own DOF in etc !! Gareth Jennings is the new academy manager from yesterday , I bet he wonders what's on the horizon for them there ?
coolhandfox Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 Always done a job for us when call upon, decent squad player who doesn't rock the boat when left out.
leicesterisme Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 I wonder his relationship with the manager was like, I mean I somehow don't think all the players were exactly fond of Pearson. I find that very hard to believe, whenever interviewed all of the players were very complimentary of him and of the team spirit.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 Speaking of Hammond, who else got excited when we signed Elvis Hammond. I did because he was black and fast. Also the name reminds me of a cross between some ham and an almond.

Haydos Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 Solid squad player this season, nothing to write home about but it makes sense. I'm seriously done with this place at the moment, turned into a proper cesspit, even a lot of the usual posters I have some respect for are going off the rails. Gareth Jennings is the new academy manager from yesterday , I bet he wonders what's on the horizon for them there ? The decision will have been made to offer him a contract long ago, we're not going to leave our squad short of players just in case the new manager decides he doesn't like a player. This is an area of the squad where we're really short at the minute as well.

The Doctor Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 Good news We will need a few new CM's however. Depends how long James is out for - the pictures of the fitness tests the other day looked quite promising - no brace and I didn't see a crutch near by. Jonaldinho Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 Given Drinkwater and King are currently the only available CMs we have, this was a no brainer and we can re-evaluate next summer. We desperately need reinforcements there, it's our weakest spot by far.

Monk Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 Pleased with this, he was solid for the games he played last season and a much needed member the squad, especially as we have no other CDMs on our books currently!
1993fox Posted 2 July 2015 Share Posted 2 July 2015 Unimportant. James is not a good midfielder anyway, so we need a big signing in that area.
