ScouseFox Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all
Harry - LCFC Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 Some top Leicester players there. Can't wait to see them playing for us again in a few short weeks. Alright, Frank, you're glad he's gone. We get it. You don't have to mock the rest of us who don't share your view.
Frank to be Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 Alright, Frank, you're glad he's gone. We get it. You don't have to mock the rest of us who don't share your view. I'm not glad he's gone and I've never said anything of the sort. But by having to make things up to paint my more positive view out as unreasonable, you are sort of admitting that you don't find my actual view so unreasonable after all. Seems like you've seen the light. Come and join us, it's much better over here in the optimistic camp.
lestajigs Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 Jesus can you hear yourselves!!! embarrassing. The sacking was embarrassing and to not have a replacement is just god dam stupid
MONreborn Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 This is so gutting. what a legend. The best thing about having nigel was that he'd effectively been here since 2008. The continuity, we knew him, the players knew him, the fans (on the whole) loved him. Why did they cut a good thing short? We will be talking about the pearson years for decades to come. Its a shame they were cut short, as he could have been here for the next 5 years building a legacy. I was sure he was going to be building that legacy too. Can the owners and nige just not come to an agreement? Can we also organise a show of appreciation at the sunderland game for the big man?
wattolcfc Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 The Pearson haters will go into hiding if we get in a shit manager who takes us down with no team spirit. He did great for us, why can't people just admit it. He and the team showed passion, I fear the next man to walk through the doors of the KP could be the biggest disaster the Thais have made, following the sacking of Nigel of course.
Webbo Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 The sacking was embarrassing and to not have a replacement is just god dam stupid I seem to remember a few days ago the Thais had only sacked Pearson because they'd secretly lined Hiddick up, now they're being criticised because they haven't got anyone lined up.
EnglishOxide Posted 7 July 2015 Author Posted 7 July 2015 You are not making things any easier you bastard I know

Admittedly some on here have never liked Pearson but a lot of people on here have just accepted what's happened and got over it. The new man might be a disaster, no one can deny that. He might also be a massive success. There's no guarantee that we would have stayed up next season with Pearson in charge either.
lestajigs Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 I seem to remember a few days ago the Thais had only sacked Pearson because they'd secretly lined Hiddick up, now they're being criticised because they haven't got anyone lined up.. Yes
Jakemoore Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 I thought I had adjusted to the idea of an LCFC without Nigel but this has just brought it all back. What a shit decision..
Frank to be Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 I'll be glad when your gone. Not really enjoyed anything you've said in the last month I'm not enjoying the negativity from all you teenagers who think Pearson is the only manager in the world who could ever do a good job for Leicester, either, but I'm positing because I want to spread a more positive message so that hopefully when the opening day comes the crowd will be that little bit less negative. What are all you negative nancies contributing apart from irrational misery?

Come and join us, it's much better over here in the optimistic camp. You're banging your head against a wall Frank. There are some on here who would walk over hot coals for Sir Nigel. And will berate any alternative option. I'm dissapointed he's gone. But the forum remains a rather bizarre place to be. There's disappointment and upset. That's understandable. Then there's this.

Don't agree with anything you say. Deal with it
MONreborn Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 Don't think the majority of fans will get over this for a long time to come, you will always have the memories that come back. This is just us. Imagine the players, who pearson has been involved with day in day out over the last 4 years, and with some (like andy king) since 2008. They must be absolutely gutted. Also fuchs and huth probably only came because of pearson, fuchs said as much when he signed. He must be thinking 'what the fuch' is the club doing by sacking the man who has the best statistical record of any of our previous managers. thats in his first and second spell. If you look at both spells separately, he has the 1st and 2nd best record of any manager in our history. Seriously, what are the owners thinking. This man had so much passion, so much drive, so much ability to build a football club from top to bottom. All this is now down the pan. Please REINSTATE nigel!
Mark_w Posted 7 July 2015 Posted 7 July 2015 What are all you negative nancies contributing apart from irrational misery? Rational misery for a start.
