Aus Fox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 1-0 up at half time in the Gold Cip Quarter Finals, big Wes looking solid and likely could be away for a few more days.
Aus Fox Posted 19 July 2015 Posted 19 July 2015 Another win means Big Wes will be away for another week, with a semi against USA on Wednesday, a chance to add another shirt to his collection. And either a final or 3/4th place playoff next weekend. If he plays in both games he will equal Kasey Keller as our most capped non British player
Bamba's Babes Posted 21 July 2015 Posted 21 July 2015 Is he still out there? He's going to be donald ducked by the the time he returns!

And either a final or 3/4th place playoff next weekend. If he plays in both games he will equal Kasey Keller as our most capped non British player I assume you mean for caps won whilst at the club. As the likes of Cambiasso, Dabizas, Tiatto all won plenty of caps. According to Wiki that would make 17 caps, What about Mahrez? 17 caps all whilst at Leicester

According to Wiki that would make 17 caps, What about Mahrez? 17 caps all whilst at Leicester Of course while at the club, they are the only caps that count when looking at our most capped player. Forget Wiki if he plays in both games he will earn his 21st cap, equal to Keller.
Collymore Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 The fitness and sports science staff will take this into account and create a personal program for him. I'd say that side of our club is the best in the league and we shall have no worries there. I would say that the club is up to speed with sports science but this is the Premier League we're talking about! I know we have (had) links with Loughbrough Uni but the other clubs in the PL just get on with it without singing from the rooftops! We make out that we're all cutting edge in our foxesplayer videos all the time! Definitely so in L1 and maybe so in the Championship but the PL is different gravy. Big Sam and Bolton were the first to really implement the science side and that's why they had an advantage over most when we use to see our players on the lash in the local pubs and bars and read their autobiographies about all sorts of shenanigans that would never happen today. We're good, don't get me wrong but certainly nothing special in this league.

Looking forward to it and hoping Jamaica and Big Wes can take down the US Team
NewburyFox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 2-1 now, 15 to go. Wes looking solid but USA pushing hard.

They have sleeping rooms next to their training pitches...
Jordan Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 **** me... But if we're gonna lost to anybody, it might as well be to a fantastic Wes Morgan and his Jamaican teammates. I will be awfully disappointed not seeing the USA play on Sunday, but I will be behind Jamaica 100% in the final.
enmac Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 1 out of 4 so far! Wes is magic! Sent from my BNTV600 using Tapatalk
lgfualol Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 It's an amazing achievement for Jamaica and I really hope Wes and gang win. Unfortunately I think the tournament officials have other ideas... If anyone has seen Mexico's last few games they'd agree. Expect dodgy penalties and red cards for jamaica.
Aus Fox Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 I think Mexico have bought the cup unfortunately, but when was the last time a city player was in an international final? Non since Banks is imagine?
Aus Fox Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 When is the final?27th I think 12:30 uk time, I have it at 9:30 watch with my corn flakes
Fox 4 Life Posted 23 July 2015 Posted 23 July 2015 A friend of mine works in football circles and directly with Morgan's representatives, saw him over the weekend and he said Wes is pretty concerned about being away from Leicester given all the changes. Obviously he is delighted to be going so far with Jamaica but maybe he is realising with Pearson gone that he won't be as automatic as he once was. Either way congrats on getting to the final, what a win against the US.
