CKB Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 He'll be sacked in 4 months time and NP will return.. Seriously now, I'm not overly thrilled with this appointment but I'll back him and hopefully he can push us on. I do fear alot of money is gonna be spunked up the wall though and if that doesn't pay off then we could be in trouble
fridoux Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 ranieri is a long experience of loose ! what a horrible new ! welcomeback championship he got no control on the players, his biggest problem. pearson where are u ? ffs
daddylonglegs Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 5 pages so far: Its not who I wanted so therefore its a bloody disaster and I'm handing in my season ticket.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 People judging him on his time with Greece FFS
cjslcfc Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Everyone go and read his profile on the OS. It's started to sway me towards him a little bit. The experience he brings (not only in top clubs but improving lower clubs) is absolutely fantastic. That said they were bound to make him sound good!
digitalalba Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Claudio managed Cambiasso at Inter for 6 months, could help keep him here.
MiniFox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 bye bye shakey, walsh, cambiasso, shrewd spending, sports science. I bet you a tenner he isnt our manager 2 years from now. hope its a good ride though If anything Cambiasso is more likely to stay, having played under him.
KP Fox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Welcome Tinker Man !!! Good luck to you and the great set of lads you have inherited!
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Glad it's all over and very glad it's not Cotterell, Preki and others of a poor standard who were mentioned. Personally would have preferred O'Neill back but will be right behind Ranieri and his team. Just praying it doesn't go a similar route to Sven.
Frank to be Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Like when Huth came in, the difference between mediocre players who we loved and one with actual class was immediately apparent. Hopefully Ranieri will have a similar effect. Very promising appointment, massively excited for the next two years no. We may well be about to see the development of the best Leicester team in living memory.
Webbo Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 He doesn't have to win the league, just keep us out of trouble.
cheshamfox17 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 8 teams in 10 years says it all about his recent record, ah well could have been worse
JoeBloggs Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Perhaps it was this that convinced the owners... https://singingfromtheterrace.wordpress.com/
EnderbyFox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 ranieri is a long experience of loose ! what a horrible new ! welcomeback championship he got no control on the players, his biggest problem. pearson where are u ? ffs
Libertine Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Cautious but excited. Not confident it'll pay off for us, but not disappointed with this. Could do a lot worse.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 An amazing appointment for a club of our stature Not quite sure who the naysayers wanted :-/
weller54 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Juries out!... But be wonderful if Cambiasso stays on the back of his appointment!
Mark_w Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 we tracked the plane ranieri was on! Yeah yeah whatever. On to the important stuff, how much did you bet over the course of the last however long, how much did you win?
Frost Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 ranieri is a long experience of loose ! what a horrible new ! welcomeback championship he got no control on the players, his biggest problem. pearson where are u ? ffs Your profile photo kinda sums up my reaction to your post.
Finn Claw II Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Better than almost all of the other 'realistic options' The board set a budget not the manager, so any overspend will be down to the board not him. I thought he was very likeable at Chelsea and did a decent job there. Get cambiasso signed ASAP!
cheshamfox17 Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Claudio managed Cambiasso at Inter for 6 months, could help keep him here. Apparently he played a significant role in pushing him towards the exit door, so I highly doubt it
