TheReaper87 Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Think we will at best look likely to add to the squad (not necessarily improve if I'm honest) with the likes of players from 3 of the relegated teams or from premier teams who have improved their squads leaving players like Nolan (first name I could think of) being surplus to requirements. Think the best players we can hope for in terms of improvement are loan signings that will more than likely happen very close to either the start of the season or, just prior to transfer deadline.
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 I want some sexy old Italian keeper like Stefano Sorrentino
mozartfox Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 If you think it is bad now, remember............. LEICESTER CITY boss Peter Taylor is delighted to have signed Junior Lewis on a permanent contract - after fending off interest from other clubs for the former Gillingham star. Taylor has expressed his delight at the manner in which Lewis has adapted to football at the higher level since arriving on an extended loan from The Gills, and gone some way to easing the impact of Neil Lennon's sale to Celtic.
Aus Fox Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Not sure if this is the right place to put this and I am not ITK, but chatting with a mate who said we are in for Ivan Toney, don't know much about him but he is for the development squad, from Northampton?? I think? Anyway has anyone else heard this, again I am it ITK and as far as I know neither is the friend that past this on. I don't do twitter and we get very little Leicester transfer info the papers here, so haven't seen it anywhere as a rumour.

Junior Lewis a like for like for Neil Lennon in the same way I am a like for like replacement for Cambiasso

Clever Fox Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 I saw someone in London tweet a picture of himself and Ranieri. Possibly down there to talk to a potential signing? Sean's that tweet isn't so secret judging by another thread. Probably there meeting up with Mourhino to see who we can borrow from Chelsea. Then maybe talking with the players.

jimmeh Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Highly doubt that given Mourinho despises him Where did you get that idea from mourinho is a winner and uses mind games in the lead up to big games. Seeing as ranieri used to manage Italian sides, when mourinho was in charge of inter milan. This is what it's about. Mourinho says word about wenger and guardiola often
GingerrrFox Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Sorry to burst the bubble but Ranieri lives in London and he's not in charge of signing players. That's still Walsh/Rudkins remit.

Errr read those articles. Maybe so but would say it was slightly more than mind games.
st albans fox Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Mouriniho is in the US. More factual rubbish ! If we only deal in facts, what the hell will we post about !
lgfualol Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Hopefully someone this week. This is unbearably boring.
mozartfox Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Cannot wait for Monday Night Moan-in? Super Strings is ITK.

That is hilarious to read back. Ease the burden of lennon's departure? In my lifetime that is probably one of the best players being replaced by one of the worst. Would love to know who the other clubs supposedly interested were.
mozartfox Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Just listened to Talkshit Radio and interesting hear about the Stoke and Villa signings.
Finn Claw II Posted 28 July 2015 Posted 28 July 2015 I can see Romeu signing once Chelsea are back the pre-season tour, so that would be the end of this week. It looks like we are after quality not quantity. Mid to end of August the players that haven't got their 'dream move' will see LCFC as a good option after all...
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 28 July 2015 Posted 28 July 2015 I dont think we will sign anyone at least for another 3 more weeks I dont think we will sign anyone at least for another 3 more weeks

Exactly I would be happy to wait if it ensures bringing in quality rather than quantity! If you put yourself in a top players shoes & I heard Leicester wanted me I think I would be happy about it but surely you would naturally wait to see if anyone else came in for you?
