Corky Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 The lack of input in this thread is appalling. Who cares? We're big time now.
MC Prussian Posted 29 April 2016 Author Posted 29 April 2016 In fairness the site was down from 8-10 last night. Think that goal is going to about kill Liverpool. They've got to go at Villarreal and that's where they're at their best. If the two Madrid sides, Sevilla and Villarreal all go through, which for me all four sides are favourites to, it would mean that not a single Spanish side exited Europe to a non-Spanish side, which is absolutely ridiculous. I suppose Valencia did go out of their CL group to Zenit & Gent but it didn't put them out of Europe. To be fair, it was more about the lack of input in general.
lcfcsnow Posted 29 April 2016 Posted 29 April 2016 It would have a lot more interest if games were available to watch without having to pay for both sky and bt
rmahrez Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Always impressive to watch YNWA before a European night, especially loud tonight after the Hillsborough verdict. Not sure who I want to win this one. Like to see English teams go well in Europe, but apparently we get less prize money if they qualify for the CL.
Corky Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Sevilla could win their 5th UEFA Cup/ Europa League in 11 seasons. I know it's the done thing to knock this competition in England but imagine having that record?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Klopp's onto something with this Liverpool side isn't he?
filbertway Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Cant decide who were more pathetic. Villareal or Man City?
rmahrez Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Ridiculous that Liverpool are one game from the CL after deluded Brendan's start. Add to that a Wembley final and Klopp is really a miracle worker. Imagine what he can do with a few of his own players.
FireFox Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Klopp's onto something with this Liverpool side isn't he?Two cup finals this season. If he can get the transfers he wants, then they'll be a force again.
Dan Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Phenomenal what Klopp's done in this competition with that group of players. Thought Villarreal would have too much for them but they've gone through fairly comfortably in the end despite starting in a precarious position. You'd not bet against them going all the way. I mean, I have money on Sevilla, but I didn't fancy Liverpool going this far. Very refreshing seeing an English side take it seriously.
foxy boxing Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Amazed Liverpool are in the final, there also rans in the premier league Spanish teams always do well in the Europa league for some reason they can cope better Thursday/Sunday than English clubs or is that just a myth
m4DD0gg Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Wow liverpool have been given an 11k allocation for the final and authorities in Basel have pleaded not to travel unless you have a ticket.....thats only going to end one way really isnt it.
Dan Posted 6 May 2016 Posted 6 May 2016 Standard contempt for the fans we've come to expect. Hope they take 30k.
Guest MattP Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 They can take as many as they want, we now officially know nothing can go wrong when that happens.
purpleronnie Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 Stadium only holds 36,000. Seems a stupid venue to choose for a final. They can take as many as they want, we now officially know nothing can go wrong when that happens. Espeically if not policed well.
Ross-Kemp Posted 7 May 2016 Posted 7 May 2016 They can take as many as they want, we now officially know nothing can go wrong when that happens.Wasting your breath mate, Athens 2005, thousands jumped fences, would have been someone else's fault though.
Tincy Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 One thing for sure. You can't fault the support of Liverpool on European nights like this
Fox92 Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 C'mon Liverpool! One thing for sure. You can't fault the support of Liverpool on European nights like this Their support is incredible, seen some videos earlier today. Looks brilliant.
FireFox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 C'mon Liverpool! We get more Champions League money if they aren't in it. Also it keeps them weaker with less money, and they won't be able to attract players who want CL.
Guest Manini Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Liverpool fans climbing fences without ticket. Certainly doesn't remind me of anything. Wonder who'll get the blame this time if God forbid something goes wrong.
