Merging Cultures Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 It really annoys me when players put their arms up to signal it's their ball when it clearly isn't. Lallana knew he was the last one to touch the ball then. It was very obvious. Yet he puts his hand up as though the lines man is totally blind. I can understand doing it when it isn't clear cut, but when it is that obvious, it surely just makes you look dumb and like a cheat.
Guest Manini Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Have a laugh at my expense lads. Thought this was next week spent the last 45 watching Wimbledon Stanley Probably a better watch
trabuch Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Good - I really don't want a team that finished 21 points behind us lowering the prestige of the Champions League.
Manwell Pablo Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Probably a better watch Tbf they'd just bought akinfenwa on when I realised as well talk about a double edged sword.

Same for appealing for a foul/pen after diving... or grabbing the ball when falling over when the ref hasn't given a foul.In all cases you are trying to deceive/influence the ref.

trabuch Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Prefer a team 39 points behind? Yes - if it means more money for us and a nice visit to a warm city.
AKCJ Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Could you imagine how good Sturridge would be if he gave a shit?
richardsfoxes Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Am i right in saying we get like an extra 20-30M if Liverpool lose?

Can't agree with that, it's engrained in the game you'll see it down the local park if you go and watch a game on Sunday morning, you'll see it next Saturday in the champions league final. Half the time you don't even know if it hit you last its just a natural reaction.
AKCJ Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Gameiro is the dogs. Would love him here. As i'm typing... WHAT A GOAL.
Guest Manini Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 That is a fantastic goal. Wow I had Coke anytime as well
RowlattsFox Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Fantastic goal. Wtf were Sevilla doing in that first half.

It's sad in a way that commercialism has robbed sport of one its founding principles - the idea of fair or 'sporting' play! That is a fantastic goal. Wow I had Coke anytime as well He ran a nice 'line'
foxes21 Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Liverpool tired maybe after all that pressing in the first half? Reminds me again how impressive we have been this season. We know when to press & when to sit back, helps conserve our energy so much!
Guest Col city fan Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 Really liking how Emre Can plays. Not for the first time this season. He's got a commanding presence in that midfield area and very composed. Liverpool looking good, Seville looking dreadful really. Typical me...I post that then immediately look very silly...

It probably doesn't influence the ref so sure, doesn't deserve a yellow, but it is so annoying to watch players do it, especially when they as you say have no idea who it hit last. Then again, isn't it just a "natural reaction" to go to ground if you feel any contact inside the penalty area?
