fleckneymike Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 This image only contains data from last season, but could Swansea be a good outside bet for relegation? Sunderland have big problems to sort out and WBA and West Ham look like they need defensive reinforcements too. Also shows that if Man City had been more ruthless in attack then the season could have panned out a lot differently
The Doctor Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 If swansea go down I'll eat my hat - they don't take that many, but they're bloody clinical with them.
Fox92 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 8/1 Swansea. Doubt it, even though they lost Bony they still seem to have enough quality.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I reckon Swansea are only a bad start and some key injuries away from being candidates for relegation, myself.

sylofox Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Would be interesting to see that in our last 10 games First 5 and last ten then do one with all the shite in the middle.
city187 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Villa have got to be, even more so when benteke leaves and sherwood pisses £30 million down the drain on players like adebayor
Dan Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I'll donate £100 to Foxestalk if Swansea are relegated next season.
HEGGSY Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I'll donate £100 to Foxestalk if Swansea are relegated next season. And me
city187 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I can see Southampton struggling As in relegation? No ****ing chance
ARM1968 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 All 3 promoted clubs will struggle. Sunderland, WBA, Palace and definitely Newcastle will likely be in the mix. Couple of surprises, oh and Villa. I think it will be as busy at the bottom as last season
smudger63 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 We dont have relegation rivals, because we are not going to be struggling down at the bottom end next season.
lestajigs Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Watford, Bournemouth, villa, Norwich, and defo Sunderland I can see Southampton struggling Cannot see it tbf
JamesO Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I can see Southampton struggling Thats what i thought last season......
Guest ttfn Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I'll donate £100 to Foxestalk if Swansea are relegated next season.I always predict them to struggle and they never do. I think they'll struggle next year
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 southampton struggling is a joke, look at all the quality they have added!
kingcarr21 Posted 17 July 2015 Posted 17 July 2015 3 promoted teams will struggle i think along with Sunderland and Villa. Personally think it will be out of them 5 for relegation with us hovering around 13th-15th position. Fancy Palace to have a great season. Cabaye is an absolute steal.
Number 6 Posted 17 July 2015 Posted 17 July 2015 Norwich, Watford, Bournemouth, Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle, Leicester, WBA all in the battle for me.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 July 2015 Posted 17 July 2015 West Brom, Sunderland and Watford may well be the three to go down for me. I think Bournemouth are going to surprise a few people and, like Norwich, will rely on their home form for survival. I also think we'll be just about ok. Probably 16th or 17th if not further up.
lgfualol Posted 17 July 2015 Posted 17 July 2015 I think Bournemouth will have a season like ours but not pull off a great escape. I imagine they'll come in playing good football and everyone will say "no way they will go down" then all of a sudden they cant score and managers out tactic Howe. I think Watford could be fine, but not sure they have enough prem experience within their squad. I'm going for Villa Norwich Bournemouth to go. We'll be 15th
fleckneymike Posted 17 July 2015 Author Posted 17 July 2015 This chart shows shots taken v shots scored. Again it shows a 'degree' of creativity and would be a worry for fans of Aston Villa if they lose Benteke and shows why Pulis is desperate for pace in his squad. As badly as Newcastle trailed off last season, they could be a reasonable shout for a top half finish. This one is probably why Claudio wants to bring in some of those 'Italian tactics'
