Stuntman_Mike Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 0-3 we'll lose the midfield battle. We've also conceded far too many in friendlies, defence needs shoring up. Chilwell talented but don't like the idea of him being thrown in the deep end, Wasyl gives away too many cheap fouls. We don't even know who will be playing in midfield yet so I don't see how we've lost the battle already. There's no saying Chilwell is guaranteed to play either. As for the goals we've conceded, they've been mainly screamers or daft penalties. I wouldn't be too worried about them.

I actually haven't got a clue where there going to be this season, they had some decent players last season but for some reason they just don't perform.
psychonaut Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Krammy and Okazaki up top with Mahrez in behind them. Albrighton and Schlupp on the wings with Kante and King in the centre. Huth, Was and Wes at the back with Kasper taking the captains armband.

Ulloa had a good overall season scoring a few goals but i just cant find a place for him in the starting 11. Schemeichel Wasyl Huth Morgan Albrighton Schluup King Drinky Mahrez Vardy Okazaki For me Vardy must start. He is an absolute menace and for me is our number 1 striker. I believe Kramaric could easily take that position as number 1 though if he plays. Okazaki could have a start similar to Ulloa though. Nugent has had a good pre season aswel so surely he is in for a shout. Could Kram play behind the 2 strikers in place of Mahrez. Too many decisions to make. My head hurts now.

Swap okazaki for Kramaric and Morgan for chillwell then that would be my line-up! Okazaki will be great as a sub to start with.

Kramaric has looked out of his depth everytime he has played...and okazaki is being selected based on what? His transfer fee evidently. You play your best players, and until kram and okazaki prove otherwise, vardy and ulloa is our best partnership.

Apart from vardy can't hit a cows arse with a banjo.quite scary how many wouldn't pick ulloa. Best finisher,best in the air and awesome at defending corners.keamaric has none of these from what I saw last season and Ialthough I like vardy but take away the running and he has very little else.he won't last long under claiudio

He needs to rest, it's ludicrous that he's not stopped playing all summer and I really would give him a rest for a couple of weeks to avoid fatigue. nnfox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Vardy and Okazaki up front for this one. Their pace will cause problems for Sunderland. Kram or Mahrez in the hole. Ulloa and Nugent on the bench give good options as the game progresses.
