Hollism Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leicestershire-33788264 I don't know where to start. You'd have to read this to believe it
Brainy Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Cue a rise in attempted burglaries at odd-numbered houses
VLC86 Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Can't say I am surprised. I know someone whos car got broken into and written off, they found a pair of gloves inside the car but the police took it no further.
Darkon84 Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 So they weren't 'ignored', they still got investigated, but not by a forensic team if it wasn't deemed necessary, to save money and everyone's time. It doesn't sound so dramatic when it's written sensibly like that does it.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Can't say I am surprised. I know someone whos car got broken into and written off, they found a pair of gloves inside the car but the police took it no further. Were they in the glove box?
yorkie1999 Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Cue a rise in attempted burglaries at odd-numbered houses And an increase in house prices at even numbered houses.
MC Prussian Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Just re-number all of them and give them a straight number plus an added letter. 8a, for instance. Job done. Let the SWAT team do the rest to your front or back door. *Knock, knock*
johnny the fox Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 They are a complete joke.. ive had an IPCC complaint against them that's been going on for over 2 years ..
Guest Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 While we're at it http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-33676308 If the police wonder why the trust in them is dwindling it's fairly easy to spot. But they won't send someone round to investigate it.
Guest MattP Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Hamsterdam Unwithering love of own owners, denial of being a Pearson hater despite it being obvious. And now references to The Wire in General Chat. Anyone else convinced 'Frank to be' is Moosebreath having a bit of a troll from the opposite side of the church? Hell of a coincedence if it isn't.
Mike Oxlong Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Too busy doling out speeding tickets to the hardcore criminals.
Mike Oxlong Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 If you wear your underpants inside out and back to front you can get away with murder. Not easy finding the winky hole mind.
DB11 Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 While we're at it http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-33676308 If the police wonder why the trust in them is dwindling it's fairly easy to spot. But they won't send someone round to investigate it. That is surely a political statement so that the public are in uproar and it forces the politicians to provide extra money for the police to allow them to investigate burglaries.
Raj Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 as an ex special I can only state that this story is SO SO idiot!
Frank to be Posted 5 August 2015 Posted 5 August 2015 Unwithering love of own owners, denial of being a Pearson hater despite it being obvious. And now references to The Wire in General Chat. Anyone else convinced 'Frank to be' is Moosebreath having a bit of a troll from the opposite side of the church? Hell of a coincedence if it isn't. For someone complaining about being labled a troll in the leader of the opposition thread you sure go to some silly lengths to convince yourself that people you don't agree with are trolls
Rincewind Posted 6 August 2015 Posted 6 August 2015 If the police have reduced funding then their time devoted to helping the public will suffer.
Jon the Hat Posted 6 August 2015 Posted 6 August 2015 Focus should be on outcomes, but it isn't. If we send the forensics team round at great cost and find nothing, that is wasted no?

foxes_rule1978 Posted 6 August 2015 Posted 6 August 2015 This is seriously ridiculous, it is like an article you would expect to read on April fools day..
