Can we be the 12th man again?

Not particularly keen on the drum standing the chants most of the time, but that's what we've moreorless relied on hasn't it?

Not a chance. I'll be there in full voice outperforming the moaners, showing support to Leicester City.

You can stay at home though if you've a mind to be one of the poisonous NPFC faction. We don't need you. You'll be in a huge minority out of the fans who actually go to games.

Oh man this is just great. Not even going to bother to reason with you, but cheers for the laugh  lol

I think we need to continue where we left it. The noise at the end of last season carried the lads over the line. Kingy commented on it on numerous occasions, how the crowd helped the team to focus and kick on.

This season is going to be just as tough, if not more than last year. We need to replicate the end of last season for the whole term! Imagine where we could end up!?

Unfortunately I think the atmosphere tomorrow depends on whether the clappers are out.

It's going to be sunny, maybe they will have' better' things to do!?

That I'm being criticised for wanting to support the club says it all. This forum is well out of sync with the real fan base.

No, you're being criticised for being a condescending prat, yet again.

The fact you even claim you liked Pearson is hilarious. Do you think everyone on here was born yesterday?

Go back and read my posts from when Pearson was still in charge and even from when his approval levels were at their lowest last season and you'll see me posting positive messages in support of Pearson.

I stopped supporting him when he got sacked. That's because I'm a Leicester City fan, not a Nigel Pearson fan.

All this talk of Pearsonites and everyone chanting for him to come back are bollocks. It didn't happen once in the 15 months he was at Hull between spells

Ranieri will get plenty of support tomorrow, as will the team. As fans we are very good at giving managers a chance at matches, very rarely heard negative chants towards them early in their reigns. It took over a year for Levein to receive any and Holloway had hardly anything.

You come into every thread and slam anyone who dares speak a positive word of him. You've come in here, bitten I assume at Unabomber (which is quite funny as he's blatantly joking) and once again tried to drill the point that Pearson's gone, get over it. Every single thread, it's the same crap.

I'm not actually convinced you have bitten at Unabomber entirely, I think you've just found another excuse to trot out the usual.

He has been biting me a lot recently to be frank.

He stated the reason why it will be flat in terms of atmosphere. The cup final feel last year in the run in games, the the uncertainty over ranieri and the fact that people still have a underlying agenda to prove we shouldn't have sacked Pearson, which is likely to affect there support for the new manager. All of which I think is perfectly reasonable.

West Stand C1. Already hung the "NPFC" flag up for tomorrow.

People will just think we are New Parks Rangers.

Thanks, I'm glad someone actually read my post

I've seen and heard a number of opinions of pundits about how our atmosphere helped get us across the line last season.

In my 54 years, I have to admit the tail end of the season was special. I'm one of those who often harks back to the best days of Filbert Street, but I have to admit, the atmosphere at the end of last season was brilliant.

Our players and ex manager have said how much it helped.

I really hope we can replicate it at the start straight away from this Saturday.

The Tifo will help to kick start us all. Well done Union FS for that.

I only hope we don't have a load of fans who are turning up waiting for us to fail as a team, so they can say "I told you so" with regards Pearson.

I go down with three others and our kids. I know one of my mates will be in that category ( The 'I told you so' brigade). I just hope they all still get behind the team.

What do you mean again?

We should be in every game home and away.

the only time i can really remember a group of fans turning on a manager or actively not supporting the team due to a manager is people like frank to be singing harry redknapp's name as a "protest" against pearson. beggars belief that these people think those that were fans of pearson, who stuck with him when we were quite frankly awful, will for some reason not support our new manager?

it'll be frank to be and his mates (if he has any) chanting ranieri out and booing if we're 1-0 down at half time, not those who have stuck with our previous managers and our club through thick and thin.

Remember Hackneyfox openly admitting to chanting Gary Linekers name as a response to One Nigel Pearson lol

Pitiful. As I've already said, if you want evidence of my support for Pearson, just go back and read my posts at the time many fans wanted him sacked.
