Countryfox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Let's put in another bid for Austin and maybe .... Maybe .... Sell Kramaric to get a bit of the money back. Nows a good time to get him whilst we are flying high and are an inform team, the iron could not be hotter ! Would we have a future England forward line ?? And think of all the combinations with our other 2 strikers ... That would really make a statement !
weller54 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 More likely Ulloa would be sold IF we went for Austin!
Countryfox Posted 25 August 2015 Author Posted 25 August 2015 Come off the fence Livid and say what you think
Len Finsbury Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I don't think Kramaric has had a decent enough chance yet. He'll get his time, I'm sure. I just hope he can be patient while the current players are in form.
Wilson_6 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Hell no! am i the only person who really isn't bothered about Austin at all?
whoareyaaa Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Kramaric could be a gem, Austin has a couple more years in him at most at top level, conclusion: pointless.
phildw Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Let's face it Krammy isn't going to get his chance other the odd cameo in Cup games as long as we are in them. Vardy and Okazaki are first choice strikers and Kramaric is not Ranieri signing (I know Vardy / Okazaki weren't either but he has clearly chosen his preferred 2). If I was Krammy I would be clambering for the door because his big opportunity in the Prem has been a disaster to date but credit to him it's not that he has performed badly but just never given an opportunity. That's football sometimes you join a club just at the wrong time (managerial changes and so on) and that's what it been like for him. I think a loan to a top end Championship side would do him wonders (so not Florist or Direby).
Guest kristianity77 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 The problem Kramaric has got in reality is Ulloa. If Leicester change anything up top in a game, its nearly always going to be Ulloa for the height and his different style of play. More often than not thats going to be the first striker change if any as it shakes things up a bit. Kram is just 3rd choice in a group of Vardy, Okazaki and Kramaric whereby its almost a waste of a sub to bring Kram on for one of Vardy or Okazaki because the styles are so similar. Krams only hope really of first team football here is either from an injury or suspension to one of the main two, or a drop in form from either of them.
westernpark Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Kramaric is such a better FOOTBALLER than our other strikers, however he does not currently fit the system.
conLAD logan Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Kramaric is such a better FOOTBALLER than our other strikers, however he does not currently fit the system. and Austin will score us goals, right now which would be vital for us maintaining a good season in the prem. loan kramaric out unless he wants to stay and fight for his place which I think he should.
kingcarr21 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I think you will see Kramaric make a few appearances sooner rather than later. If Kramaric wants to make it in the prem he must expect to have to work hard in training and take the opportunity when it presents itself. Tonight is a golden chance for players to stake a claim. Yes its Bury but they will still provide a test. Kram or Ulloa play well tonight and you are looking at a potential sub appearance against Bournemouth, thats when they need to take their chance. With regards to Austin. Had a great season with plenty of goals but im more than happy with the strikers we already have. I still believe if given the chance Kram would do really well in a front 3 with Vardy and Okazaki either side. Kasper Morgan Huth Was Albrighton Kante Inler Schluup Okazaki Vardy Kramaric Great line up but means leaving out Mahrez which atm is just plain daft. So Kramaric will have to bide his time.
Livid Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I understand our current set up, and can't complain, but I feel really sorry and frustrated for him that he isn't getting the chance. He's been limited to cameo roles as sub or when he has started he was all alone up front. I'd hate for him to be loaned him out as I think he could be great for us, let alone anyone else.
RedSoxUK Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 Let Kramaric go for Austin? Hell no. Austin's contract is up at the end of the year, no Premier Club can be that stupid to spit out 15m or an equivalent on a striker who wants to be in the Prem, whose contract runs out next season. If they can wait, they'll wait. We literally have no need for Charlie Austin, doesn't matter if he's a proven goalscorer, I wouldn't swap any of our strikers for Austin, and I wouldn't want him for 15m either at this point. The fact nobody has gone in for him isn't a 'surprise' or 'strange' he's an unnecessary risk at 15m. IMO only Manchester United / Southampton will go in for him, if not them, then a desperate Sunderland. Watch Austin's price drop to 7m in four months time.
les-tah Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 NO CHANCE IN HELL. Kramaric is up their with Mahrez in ability and potential terms.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 I'm sure during the season Vardy and Okazaki will have dips in form, dips in fitness, full on injuries or other reasons they can't play and then Kram will. You need a good depth in your squad and that is what we are. Vardy and Okazaki are not the first choice strikers, they are the current first choice strikers. It's a long season.
The Railway Man Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 You wouldn't recover the money on Kramaric to buy Austin anyway.
thybluefox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 There's a reason why no club has seriously come in for Austin yet.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 We don't need another striker and I don't think Austin would suit our set up Plus he's overpriced
goose2010 Posted 25 August 2015 Posted 25 August 2015 If we start losing and stop scoring and creating chances CR will change it, he wont just keep picking the same team and hoping it clicks he will drop players and bring new ones in.
