Liam Moore - Bristol City

I do hope he uses the time accordingly and to his own benefit - granted, I'd be a bit sour if I'd played Premier League before at such a young age, but with the right attitude and dedication, he can go places and become a starter with us in the near future.

All he's got to do is look at the loan spell as a potentially highly productive and sportive challenge.

Good move for him.  A season of Championship football is just what he needs to get back on track.

At least a recall is unlikely to disturb his progress this time as we have 4 CBs with reliable fitness records in Huth, Was, Wes and Benalouane and most unlike Upson.

Unfortunately he just is not good enough.

Don't agree at all with this, he has just lost his way, happens to a lot of players.

It wasn't that long ago he was being linked with Man City and Arsenal.

A season long loan could do him a world of good especially as centre backs get better with age.

Some folk are just to quick in writing him off

Shame that he's quite arrogant (''I should be starting in defence'' and the like).

Hope he justifies what he's said with strong performances there.

Linked to Man City and Arsenal by his agent to get a new contract. The owners want European football, he's not gonna be good enough for that level, the quality of the squad is only getting higher and higher and he's not progressing.

That doesn't make you a good player.

With Fredericks disappearing and Bristol City signing another centre back on loan in baker, he will more than likely be their right back.

Something which is hardly going to help him get stronger at centre back but I suppose any game time is good.

We usually play 3-5-2, so I would imagine that both Baker and Moore will join Flint in central defence with Luke Ayling challenging Mark Little for the RWB role and Derek Williams as cover CB/LWB.

He is still young and learning. A loan move is good for him, he will come back with some much needed experience. He did really well for us in the champ season and then did well again at the start of last term. I hope he gets another chance in the future. I really don't think he is a bad player, it's just the form of Morgan, Huth and Wasyl has kept him out of the side, think he would be a more solid option than Bene though from what I have seen so far in subs and under 21's appearances.

I just think the whole "young and learning" cliche is being overplayed in footy nowadays. I don't think Moore can learn anymore at Bristol City than he did here whilst in the Championship, at 22 he really should be playing in the PL given he was a regular in the Championship at 18. He could have done with going on loan to someone like Norwich or Bournemouth.

Probably more the fact he's naturally finding his level.

Spot on pal.
