st albans fox Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 His wife had their first child on Saturday night. I suspect he might be a bit tired and distracted.
Father Ted Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 May be wrong but I'm sure Bristol City play a 3-5-2 so could just be the centre back that has been making way for a switch in system?
Tuna Posted 15 September 2015 Posted 15 September 2015 Some snippets from the Brizzle forum from yesterday's game: Moore - 5 - distribution is not good enough to do the job he needs to in that position -- Definitely think you're being harsh on Moore, looked very solid defensively and imo looked alright taking the ball forward. Definitely a 7 for me. -- Moore - looked solid defensively and alright with the ball at his feet More here http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/171988-baker-and-moore/
HitchinFox Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 I'm glad he's playing for a side that will struggle in a tough league - he'll learn some valuable lessons. Equally glad if he's having a few bad games – simply because he'll learn much more from those. He clearly has the talent, all he needs is get some priceless experience. That's the one thing you can't really teach. I like him a lot as a player and still think he will be part of our future.
thegaffa Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 His wife had their first child on Saturday night. I suspect he might be a bit tired and distracted. His baby is in intensive care, so I hope everything works out ok for him and his family.
Wymsey Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 His baby is in intensive care, so I hope everything works out ok for him and his family. I repeat this.
MPH Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 He's got it pretty bad, probably on about £10,000 a week and works 15 hours a week. So sad His baby is in intensive care, so I hope everything works out ok for him and his family. Hope you feel a bit of a tw at now.....
VLC86 Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 Hope you feel a bit of a tw at now..... Well clearly didn't know that was the case and I doubt very much the person who's comment I was replying to was referring to this but yeah clearly don't mean the bloke any harm or any of his family.
HitchinFox Posted 16 September 2015 Posted 16 September 2015 His baby is in intensive care, so I hope everything works out ok for him and his family. Oh no. Really hope the little one is ok. Football – and pretty much everything else – suddenly loses all importance at times like that.
Vicki Vixen Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Liam taken off at half time today vs Reading. Hamer can only make the bench. Bristol lose 0-2. Not happening for either of these lads at the moment.
st albans fox Posted 19 September 2015 Posted 19 September 2015 Surprised he is playing given the circumstances. Must be impossible for the lad to concentrate.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Dropped to the bench for the game with Ipswich today
Wymsey Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 It's a shame. It seems as if he's gone quite backwards after promotion. Must be attitude and/or lack of confidence more than anything else.
Rob1742 Posted 27 September 2015 Posted 27 September 2015 Disappointed how he reacted last season. Rather than thinking he had made it, should have learned from the experienced players we had. His twittering moaning about not being involved shown how his mind was working. Shame, great talent, but not the finished article that he thought he was.
Jimothy Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 Having a hernia operation today apparently. Liam Moore @liammoore93 2h2 hours ago Checked into the hospital, ready to get op'd on this eve to sort a hernia. Should be a quick recovery & back playing pain free!
Countryfox Posted 29 September 2015 Posted 29 September 2015 The boys had one or two problems then with his baby and now an op .... can see how this may have affected him and perhaps explains a few things Good luck Liam ! ... You're still one of our own
Furtle Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 Don't Counryfox, you'll have me blubbing too...!!!
Alf Bentley Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 Countryfox did me a favour there..... Reminded me of the existence of "In the country" by The Farmer's Boys. The sound of young Norfolk - quite cheered up my morning: While I'm onto 80s bands singing about the country, here's Big Country: Good luck to Liam with his op and footballing career and all that....

Glad to be of assistance Alf .... Big Big Country fan but got to admit those Farmers Boys do put a smile on your face ! Don't Counryfox, you'll have me blubbing too...!!! Call that a dog ....
TJB-fox Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 Lot of Bristol City fans I know says he's done ok down there but apparently it's been clear he's been playing through the pain barrier, so probably for the best that he has the op. Imagine he'll look to put the past 3/4 months behind him football wise and kick on hopefully
chili_con_carne Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 What on earth happened to him? Played a big part in us winning the championship. Started the season in the premier league. And now is a regular on the subs bench for relegation candidates Bristol city in the championship. Did the money and fame get to his head? Got a year and a half left on his deal. Can't see us renewing it tbh.
johnny the fox Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 his fate is in his hands.. he needs to take a hard look at jamie vardy.
Stevosevic Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Play off season - started in the team and lost his place, didn't get back in the team Promotion season - started in the team and lost his place, didn't get back in the team Premier League - started in the team and lost his place, didn't get back in the team He's not that good, hyped because he's an academy lad.
