3 teams to have massive seasons..

I see 3 teams upsetting the odds and stirring up the league...

Hammers, Palace..Then the best side in the Midlands your very own... Leicester City.

Plus I fully expect Watford , to walz suprisingly through a few sides, but might be short on

back up, if injuries occur.Wherehas the other 3 have a creditable top 14 at least.

1st 6 games these 3 clubs have played good exciting football, I am sure all the fans from these

3 clubs, are quietly hoping, if they can hold consistency, Xmas in top 5 might not be a flight of fancy.New year will bring other challenges, but if your a fan, why not dream..

Strangely I was only thinking along these lines last evening - it suddenly seems like the minnows might have some impact against the big boys, partly because of the latter's European commitments which do take their toll but also because more are subscribing to the values of speed, spirit and determination.

Indeed I wondered if clubs like Bournemouth and Watford have seen how we've coped and taken us as an example. Maybe they're not awash with multi-million-pound footballers but they do have attitude and the willingness to have a go and its making even some of the top teams look uncomfortable at times.

Top teams have occasionally been upset by determined opposition but now there's not one determined team but lots and there's no peace for them anywhere - and no chance for strollers who might wish to pace themselves for a more important match. Suddenly the League's looking interesting although whether the "magic minnows" have the strength in depth to keep it up remains to be seen.

Could there be a freak season where one

of the unfancied teams break into the top 4 or 6? Teams like United, Liverpool and Spurs just don't strike fear into teams like us anymore so is it really inconceivable?

Would suggest West Ham and Palace have a better chance than us but you never know. Maybe money doesn't always talk?

It's just nice to be looking forward to games. Not nervous going into games like Arsenal at home, think they'll be far more worried about us

Particularly due to the impact of their suspensions

Last season Sawnsea, West Ham, Southampton all had good starts to the season all looked like breaking into the top 6 even the top 4 but in the end the top 4 were the usual suspects with Liverpool and Spurs taking up their usual position in the top 6.

We are 6 games in and whilst it has been a great start for some of the less fashionable clubs and the top 4 has an unfamiliar look to it over 38 games the quality and depth of talent will end up showing. West Ham, Palace and we will all go through a bad spell and are a lot more exposed to injuries and suspensions.

Great start but the aim for this season remains survival, consolidation, development and growth.

I think fitness is a big factor that gets overlooked ad well. The three teams above don't seem to slow down towards the 2nd half like a lot of teams do.

City have had a great start to the current season, but the defence is very suspect & let's not forget that we haven't yet faced any of the 'top' sides. I am not counting Spurs as a 'top' team. We will discover just how good we are when we play Man. City, Man. Utd. Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal.

Top 10 finish would be great & definitely  achievable.

I think that there is certainly a season like that on the horizon and Spurs and Liverpool fans must be worrying about becoming mid-table fodder mixing it in with us, Swansea, Palace and surrendering their usual top 6 finish. I don't think City, United, Chelsea, Arsenal will be touched but the 5th/6th (almost poisoned chalices now as nobody wants to play Europa League) places could become competitive.

Liverpool are no better than Spurs. It is only really the other 4 who could outclass us.

I'd say us, West Ham and Swansea.

You never know with Everton, they could go either way.

Genuinely think Southampton will struggle but will be comfortably safe.

Whilst I agree that LCFC,  Palace and Hammers will go through a rough patch at some time and drop away a bit, I feel this season is slightly different to last...the top sides are being tested by so many more teams.

I think people are getting a bit carried away with us at the moment.

Yes we have started this season (and ended last season) very well and every game in PL is tough but we have had a favorable start.

I do not think we are on the level that Swansea, Everton, Southampton and Palace are just yet.

We will not be challenging for Europa spots this season and I believe we will finish 12th.

Of course, I would love to be proved wrong but I just don't see it.

If we stay up and do well in a cup it will be a good season. It only takes a few poor results for the confidence to drop, difference being the top teams can cope with this due to their extra quality. £250k a week versus £40k a week makes a massive difference (in the end)

Apart from the 2 North-East clubs, Rodgers' job is at the most risk imo.

Henderson out for 2 months.

Coutinho and Mingolet are saving them from embarrassment.

Look back at the start of last season, Chelsea obviously smashed it, but no other top 6 club won more than 2 games from the first 6.

Arsenal won 2- draw 4- lost 0

Liverpool 2-1-3

Man City 2-3-1

Man Utd 2-2-2

Spurs 2-2-2

Slow starts for big teams is very common, but in the end the top 6 more often than not come from the same 6 teams (maybe seven if you include Everton).

Same way promoted clubs often get off to a good start and get dragged back into it, this is why you don't really look at the table until after ten games, a great start is nothing more than a great start and going on a bad run is always possible.

Sunderland and Newcastle look doomed to me!.. Hopefully Villa will join them for the drop... Would be amazing if all 3 of the newly promoted sides survive, but at the moment it looks like a good possibility!...

I think we'll finish around mid table with 50 ish points...

Palace could be as high as 7th /8th.
