Capital One Cup - Round 4 Draw - Hull City away

Would feel a lot more comfortable if this was at home. Not an easy game by any means but one that I'd like us to take seriously and give it a real go. I'd take it over being drawn away at a top 10 Prem team though.

Surprised Hull have made it this far, I thought they'd be fielding extremely weakened sides with the sole goal, getting promotion, this season.

Nothing wrong with a cup run. We made the quarters when we won the league.

15th highest ranked team out of the 16 remaining (if Carlisle lose). I don't see how we can have any complaints. Their home form is a bit of a worry but I'm happy with this personally. Bit of a novelty not going there in ****ing December for once too.

Not half. Boxing day drove to Hull and back in a day for a 0-0 draw and 1 hour to get out of the bloody car park in torrential rain.

Good chance of getting past, would have preferred a home tie obviously but, not bad!

Uninspiring draw, but should be confident of progressing to the next round. Would it hurt to have an away cup draw down south for a change?  :P

thats what i hope for, then i remember, Brighton are shit

What a hideous afternoon that was.

Compounded when I bought a "cheeseburger" that was a half cooked meatball caked in cheese she'd sprayed out of a ****ing tube. No bread.

"That's 'ow it's dun up 'ere luvvie".

Nothing is easy in football. Ask £300 million Rodgers. How many of his buys would make our team in reality.

Still we should win and make the quarters. Be nice to get a big side at home.

Palace at home weekend before and WBA away weekend after. It will be a challenging week but will also be interesting to see how it's managed. We've got to keep up the good form pre December and no reason we can't incorporate a decent cup run.

I remember being quite pleased about the outcome of that game. We were on a bad run and I was glad to see us get a decent result.

I can be a bit of a defensive bore when it comes to football sometimes

I remember going up to Hull for an FA Cup tie - must be nigh on 40 years ago - and it was the coldest I've ever been at a game. Then the coach got bricked by the local retards, so we travelled all the way back with no windows. I've never been so glad to get back to Leicester in my life.

Was that during McLintock's reign when George Armstrong scored the only goal in a 0-1 win ?? Lot of us up there that day when the FA Cup still meant something. I remember City fans sitting down in the middle of the main road outside the stadium as the Old Bill wouldn't let us go in the direction of a pub. Batons drawn and all sorts... and a police horse tried to bite my ear off :o
