New signing? Schelotto

Said Florist wanted him and now they don't ..... Says it all for me .... No thanks

What it sounds like, Inter tried to loan him out on deadline day and Forest couldn't get the deal done, not that they didn't want him

Can't see why we couldn't get him in for some trials at least

Doubt it would be any more than having a look at the bloke on a short contact. We did the same under Pearson plenty of times.

Maybe so maybe not but either way Forest didn't get him and nobody else wanted him either .... Listen, I don't anything about him but based on what we do know I'm not getting too excited .....

We did want him and talks were underway at the start of the season. As he'd been released by Inter I suspect his wages were somewhat out of our embargoed reach so he buggered off to Portugal to see what he could get there. Which was not much by the looks of things. Other then he barely played for Inter and got one goal in the derby I know bugger all about him.

I think some of you forget that the players actually get the option as well about going out on loan, ever considered that maybe he didn't want to go to Forest? The attitude of a club didn't want him so he must be rubbish is such a naïve way to look at it, the amount of players that have not been wanted by clubs and turn out to be quality is pretty much endless.

Reports in Italy claim the 26-year-old has agreed a deal in principle with the Foxes, but will only sign when Claudio Ranieri's side allow a registered player to leave. He would be ineligible to play in the Premier League until January because the Foxes submitted their 25-man squad at the start of the month and it seems unlikely that Ranieri would let that happen. Schelotto left Inter in the summer after failing to seal a move away from the club for a fee, having been loaned out to Sassuolo, Parma and Chievo over the last two seasons. He was rejected by Sporting Lisbon after being linked to the Portuguese club earlier this month. The winger has also made one brief appearance for Italy, in a 2-1 friendly loss to England in 2012.

I thought we only registered 24? so he would be eligible.

Matthew 7:17-20-" so, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but the bad tree da fruit bad. Not a good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So, by their fruits." Conclusion: you'll be a tree good or a bad tree? Do not listen to their profession of faith, rather let the fruits are in. Examínese honestly and see if the things that you're doing is born of the divine seed of God in your heart, resulting in a life holy and pious, or if they are born out of a bad heart of disbelief that it is in practice sin and iniquity. And if you know that has been transformed into a new creature, and the fruit of his life proves it without any doubt, then rejoice and receive the safety of faith by means of these words of the Lord Jesus. But if you see that it has not been transformed into a new creature, then theme; subject to God with all his heart, humillese before him, quit his sin, repent of their own paths, leave your evil deeds and come to Christ in faith Viva, entrusted with all my heart that he can save. Cries out to him to begin this work of grace on you. He invokes the name of the Lord in desperation and in a simple faith, trusting in his promises that can save perpetually to those that for him it is closer to God. The time to be converted is now, before the great Lord of the harvest comes back with an axe in his hand. "and now also the axe is set to the root of the trees: therefore every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire" (Mat. 3:10) Amen ‪#‎Jesus‬ ‪#‎God‬ ‪#‎Faith‬‪#‎Christ‬ ‪#‎Jesus‬ ‪#‎gave‬ ‪#‎love‬ ‪#‎pazienza‬ @Divinamisericordia @jesusmisericordioso @dios_restaura @esperanza_con_jesucristo @vivoporjesucristo @jesuscristo _ 2015 @jesusenticonfio

Think that's taken at Groby Pool

It'd concern me a little to see another player from the Italian league come in and struggle to adapt. Not because I have a problem with the Italian league, nor because I think Inler, Benalouane will turn out to be useless to us. Purely because since Ranieri's arrival we've seen Kante (a Pearson-era target) arrive at the club and then a raft of interest in players who have struggled in the Italian league. Not only the only two purely Ranieri permanent signings, but also the Japanese (I think) full back he was interested in and now, if rumours are to be believed, this lad.

The Italian league is probably the league which Ranieri knows best, as opposed to the league which our scouting network focuses on the most, so maybe we're not going through the established process anymore. Instead, we've got a manager who's taking the lead and saying 'look, I know precisely the guy for the job'. That's okay if it works out, but the two acquisitions of this ilk that he's picked up so far still have question marks hanging over them, and there might be a danger of a manager either underestimating the PL or overestimating Serie A. I'd prefer to see a little more evidence of our scouting network being called upon, if only because of its previous success.

It's just a possibility, of course, and it comes from someone with zero inside information of any kind. The whole story could be nonsense or our scouts may well have been focusing on Italian football all along or, perhaps, these players might turn out to be revelations. And then there's the argument that Serie A is better than the EPL these days, and we are better off with their cast-offs than with the previously favoured French / English / German league targets. I suppose the proof will be in the pudding, as usual.

We were first interested in him before Claudio took over, So would suggest it is a scouted target rather than a Claudio one.
