Guest Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 I think he's a strong fast winger and well worth a freebie.
jayfox26 Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 If someone needs to leave to accommodate him then surely we need to loan out Dodoo. He won't have a chance if he's behind Mahrez, Albrighton, Dyer and now this guy. Technically Schlupp is a winger as well so it makes sense so loan out Dodoo to a champ team. I'm sure lots would take him
queensguardfox Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Ezequiel Schelotto sure he can shine at Leicester City amid transfer talk Free agent Ezequiel Schelotto has said he is open to a move to Premier League side Leicester City.Schelotto, 26, had his contract terminated by Inter Milan in the summer, after a prosed switch to Chievo broke down.He asked to be released to allow him to find a new club even after the transfer window closed, and the Nerazzurri obliged. Currently training alone, the former Italy international is waiting for the right offer to arrive, and he hopes it will come from England, where Leicester would be a preference."I'd like to play there and I'm ready to get back into action," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "I don't know what stage the negotiations are at with Leicester, but if [Esteban] Cambiasso can do well there, then I'm sure I can too."I would never have imagined I'd find myself without a club at the age of 26. Now I'm waiting for a gift -- a new club." Schelotto admits that his career took a turn for the worse as soon as coach Andrea Stramaccioni left Inter. "He was a very important person for me," he said. "He wanted me to prove myself at the Nerazzurri and his departure was unlucky for me."I'd like to thank [Roberto] Mancini, who is a winner and had me training with the first team even if I did not figure in his plans. When [Walter] Mazzarri came, though, I had to leave. I respected his choices, but I would have liked to have been given the opportunity that he gave to many other players."The Argentina-born winger has made a total of 152 appearances in Serie A, 29 of which came for Chievo last season. A return to Verona broke down just before the transfer deadline, when he instead asked to be released from his contract with Inter.

Larry_LCFC Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Only if he cuts his hair and shaves his Ulloa facial hair This. He looks a right bellend.
leicesterlad1989 Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 I'm sure I could shine at Leicester City too but management may have other opinions.
Guest Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Think he looks great - the hair I mean. Interesting that he can play RB and WB as well. If he's any good at RB get him in.
lcfcsnow Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Hope there's nothing in this, have the same bad feeling I had about Benalouane but unlike him he won't be costing us millions. In our position though we should be able to add quality not random foreign freebies.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 I think the Italians need to stop trying to force transfers and leave it to super Steve.
steveherbe Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 I think the Italians need to stop trying to force transfers and leave it to super Steve. I'll do my best!

enmac Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 It'd concern me a little to see another player from the Italian league come in and struggle to adapt. Not because I have a problem with the Italian league, nor because I think Inler, Benalouane will turn out to be useless to us. Purely because since Ranieri's arrival we've seen Kante (a Pearson-era target) arrive at the club and then a raft of interest in players who have struggled in the Italian league. Not only the only two purely Ranieri permanent signings, but also the Japanese (I think) full back he was interested in and now, if rumours are to be believed, this lad. The Italian league is probably the league which Ranieri knows best, as opposed to the league which our scouting network focuses on the most, so maybe we're not going through the established process anymore. Instead, we've got a manager who's taking the lead and saying 'look, I know precisely the guy for the job'. That's okay if it works out, but the two acquisitions of this ilk that he's picked up so far still have question marks hanging over them, and there might be a danger of a manager either underestimating the PL or overestimating Serie A. I'd prefer to see a little more evidence of our scouting network being called upon, if only because of its previous success. It's just a possibility, of course, and it comes from someone with zero inside information of any kind. The whole story could be nonsense or our scouts may well have been focusing on Italian football all along or, perhaps, these players might turn out to be revelations. And then there's the argument that Serie A is better than the EPL these days, and we are better off with their cast-offs than with the previously favoured French / English / German league targets. I suppose the proof will be in the pudding, as usual. Anyone saying that the Italian league is useless-I'm no expert, but look at Juve. Or would you back England to progress further than Italy in the Euros? However, I can't think of many players who have left Italy and been hugely successful in England. Apart from Zola and Esteban- have I missed someone? Definitely not down to ability, probably down to a completely differrent style.

Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 7 October 2015 Posted 7 October 2015 Ravanelli, Di Canio, Vialli, Di Matteo. As memory serves they weren't too bad.
dylanlegend Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Do we need him? Mahrez / albrighton / schlump / Dyer / Dodoo. Please leave the signings to Walsh et al. Another depressing remainder we no longer have a team builder manager but one that just signs a load of average foreign players
Swiper Posted 8 October 2015 Posted 8 October 2015 Had we not signed Dyer on loan, maybe, I guess. But unless he's got some sort of hidden RB genius to him, what would be the point?

Another depressing remainder we no longer have a team builder manager but one that just signs a load of average foreign players this guy hasnt even signed. Give Ranieri a break, he's been manager for like 4 months and one transfer window. He has built up plenty of great sides in his time as a manager.

Such a fickle twat aren't you I think you're right. Another reminder of how you're never right.
