Time to drop Shinji

Fully agree. So dissapointed with him. I was so excited when he signed aswell. Just seems so lightweight, goes down far too easily.

I dunno i havent wrote him off and will always back him when playing but yeah...just don't rate him from what I've seen so far.

Ulloa is poor at closing down and pressuring the defence though.

We have Vards for that though right?

After a fantastic first two games for us including the West Ham goal, he's been a passenger in most of the games. Would sooner see Ulloa starting, gives us something a bit different.

You have said the same every week.

You and a couple of other posters are blind and boring.

Leo is far too slow for our game.

I thought he was ok first half. I don't think his replacement Andy King was any better.

The only thing I'd like to see, is if we're going to have Albrighton swinging balls in, then Ulloa is the man we want in the box.

Pearson made the Albrighton off, Ulloa on substitution about a dozen times last season and it never worked. It was strange then and it's still strange now.

It should have been Okazaki off, Ulloa on. The substitution (Okazaki for King) was weird and didnt work. It nullified out attack and Arsenal still controlled the midfield even with King, Drinky and Kante in there.

Ranieri seemed to notice and correct it but bringing Albrighton off wasn't the right choice. Drinky should have made way for Ulloa imo.

Don't let your dislike of me get in the way of a valid point, FIF

Leo holds it up and is effective in the air, Okazaki doesn't really offer anything more than Nugent did.

I have no like or dislike of you. You don't even beep on my radar so get over yourself. It must be that you happen to post badly often.

You've clearly got a bag on about Okazaki, I don't believe it's racist but I know some on here have said that.

Ulloa is too much of a donkey for our fast style of play. He's good when teams are sitting back with a lead and we're attacking but he can't chase down the ball and when teams have possession - as every team seems to have against us - he is pretty useless.

It's horses for courses.

He's a good player and a fantastic option to have but I'm surprised he started today given we didn't really press Arsenal as we have other sides at home - even more surprised he was subbed for King when we were chasing the game.

As mentioned he's a very tidy option to have, though.

Thought Ulloa would start after his brilliant game vs West Ham, was a shame not to see him in the 11.

Looked better with him on the pitch.

I'd start him.

I thought he played okay today and taking him off nullified our attack completely, although I'd put that more down to the change in system than Okazaki himself.

I'd give Kram a chance personally but can see why you wouldn't

Gotta say I didn't understand the sub.

Ok take Okazaki off, I understood but for King?

Now I like King, but I just didn't understand it, surely in that situation your bring Ulloa on.

Ulloa's genuinely been a bit of a game changer recently, so you'd expect him to start.

Okazaki's not done too much recently though, which is a shame. But then again, he's still probably getting to grips with the english game.

Time was a few games ago but the problem is no alternative winger as we could then move Mahrez into that position, which would benefit De Laet too. Hopefully Dyer is back next week.

It was more that he brought on a midfielder and to change the shape, then changed back to the original set up 15 mins later. Strange.

Personally thought he looked a lot livelier today. Just feel with his energy and work rate, it's pointless subbing him at half time. Give him another 20 mins to run down the defence then bring somebody else on.

No point in picking Ulloa when you don't leave the best crosser in the side on the pitch.

Bet the owners put the pressure on CR to pick Okasaki

Agree to disagree then.

I think Ulloa (who got 13 goals last season) was unfortunate to be dropped from the starting XI and think he's been good in the cup games. He deserves another run in the side. I think people underestimate how good it is to have somebody who can hold the ball up and bring others into play.
