If they offer to make Vardy very rich indeed and play him in the Champions League he's off.

He's going nowhere and he already been told this.

29 in a month and 2.5 years on his contract, make yourself comfortable Jamie as this is where you'll end your top flight career.

As a sweetener sign for another year on top and we'll double your money to 90k a week.

The whole team is geared to play around his strengths and theres a good chance over the next 18 months he'll be playing more Champions League matches with Leicester than Chelsea.

Leaving for Chelsea now could well backfire come the summer.

If Vardy stays with us, he's on the plane. If he goes, he's got to acclimatise to new teammates, a new manager, and a new style of play. There's no guarantee he'd get a good run of games and therefore any kind of decent form going in to the summer.

And as some have already said, we currently have a better chance of playing Champions League football next season than what Chelsea do.

Would be gobsmacked if vardy left for chelsea.

Think about it yeh chelsea could double his salary - so could we.

Champions league football for what may be 2-4 more games and 99% certainty not next season if he goes, we are really on to something and i am sure he would rather play champions league with us rather than them.

Chelsea seems like a very cliquey club which i dont think would suit vardys personality.

Not 100% guaranteed to be first name on the team sheet.

No way on this earth chelsea fans would love him like we do.

Thats a fair shout, actually....

It's ludicrous

Jonjo shelvey could be off in January..... I know we're well stocked in that area but the lad is decent and if Inler does want out we could do a lot worse than slapping a bid in for him

The bloke has issues..last thing we need in our setup..

If we are looking for another striker to replace Ulloa for example, I think we should go for Benteke. I reckon Liverpool would sell for around £18-20million as he clearly doesn't suit the style of Klopp. Think he'd be a better option than Austin and would show our intent to stay in the top 4. Maybe even a loan with option in Summer

Not for me. Anyone limiting his source of supply is most of the way to containing him. Pace, cunning and mobility would suit our team better. We've still got Ulloa if we're in desperate need of a head to aim for. I know he's not as good in that department but he's sufficient for what we might need.

Maybe. Or on the other hand maybe it's a dream move for the lad and the club like the idea of a 29 million pound profit.

I've just read Villa want to cut their wage bill and offload Charles N'Zogbia in January already.

http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/35129566

First I thought "Hmm, has something to it - should we go for him?".

Then it sprang to my mind that he's at Aston Villa.

He's on 75k per week with Villa.......the ****er is spoilt and doesn't even bother training..he'd spoil the atmosphere of your team, beside hes crap nowdays and wouldnt add anything to your team.

Someone like Oscar of Chelsea to unlock the parked buses that will come to us when we play all the lower sides at home.

Gentlemen, I have found Kante's back up if he were to ever get injured.

Jean-Daniel Akpa-Akpro.

Firstly, we should gerrimin because his name is amazing.

Secondly, he mainly plays in central midfield, but has also played right back, left back and center back for his club too.

Thirdly and most surprisingly, he beats Kante in pretty much every stat (believe it or not), bar from interceptions.

Here are his stats:

No doubt Steve Walsh and his scouts already know about him ( :fc:)

Would go for sissoko from Newcastle as think he could be great in our set up. Playing as a number 10, now as a winger like he does currently.

A winger would be good, as not a fan of dyer, frustrates more than anything, great speed and dribbling but final decision is poor, Everton 2nd goal yesterday dyer running at their defence, keep ball in corner, tries a fancy pass to ulloa and they score next play. Someone like montero from Swansea can add to our speed on the break.

if inler leaves then sissoko can fill cm, or de Jong as has been reported would add prem winners experience.

No. Sissoko is a cancer.

Squawka really is amazing isn't it.

People may laugh but I'd go for Fernando Torres. Out of form at Athletico Madrid.

With our sports science team maybe we can put this man back together and make him lethal again.

He's suit our style of player. He didn't suit Chelsea when he joined them and that added to a loss of form.

For me, he's a round peg in a round hole solution.

We don't need many additions, what just to flesh out the squad a bit.

I'd go nowhere near Fernando Torres.

Another player going in the wrong direction and has been for years now.

This team doesn't need that type of player. He would add no value.

Don't people realise that when a player is out of favour or a club want to get rid, there's a reason. If they were still great, they'd want to keep them.

What do people think our chances of getting 'Hulk' would be? He's a good age, perfect for the premier league in an Aguero style build. Consistently scored goals in top leagues and probably sick of Russia by now. Sell Kram and splash another 20. Get him in for 25-30? Statement of intent for sure

Posted

Don't want any player that brings a media circus with them. Still think we should continue with our successful recruitment policy. Who'd have thought players like Albrighton and Drinkwater could be part of a team sitting top of the premier league?

I understand we need strength in depth and a bit more quality but we've managed to find talent like Mahrez and Kante doing it our way.

I'd be looking seriously again at Veretout.

Again, he was pretty much Villas stand out player yesterday and is playing in a very poor side.

There's more to come from him I think.

We're not good enough for him...
