MC Prussian Posted 13 October 2015 Posted 13 October 2015 Sorry, couldn't find another thread on the competition yet, so let's start this one with a cracker: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/34516927 First round proper scheduled for early November.
Grandad. Posted 13 October 2015 Posted 13 October 2015 Lost my head with Solihull tonight Hopefully this doesn't lead to a dip in League form, which I can see happening. Players are so down with tonight's last minute defeat!
StanSP Posted 13 October 2015 Posted 13 October 2015 someone used to do a FA Cup competition on here. Pick a team from the start and they're basically your team til they get knocked out. I can't be arsed to run it but it'd be good if someone else did
filbertway Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 Sporting Khalsa beat Spalding (who beat us, Coalville) in the previous round. I like to think I played.my part in their and Worcester's wins last night by having a Spalding/Solihull double. Khalsa now have a potential money spinner against FC United if they beat Buxton tonight. Would be nice to see some level 7 and 8 teams in the first round again.
filbertway Posted 14 October 2015 Posted 14 October 2015 My work mate scored the winner for sporting! Nice, he must be over the moon today. 1 win away from almost certainly playing live on TV!
Nalis Posted 22 October 2015 Posted 22 October 2015 Fourth Qualifying Round this weekend, hard to believe that Tranmere v Lincoln is a match up at this early stage of the competition. Also, didnt realise GTF has signed for Tranmere!
Itsblueuptnorth Posted 22 October 2015 Posted 22 October 2015 Fourth Qualifying Round this weekend, hard to believe that Tranmere v Lincoln is a match up at this early stage of the competition. Also, didnt realise GTF has signed for Tranmere! He's gone from playing against Chelsea at Stamford bridge to non league football in about 12 months! He was so underrated for us, liked him. Should be playing at a higher level than conference, league one-championship surely?
StanSP Posted 22 October 2015 Posted 22 October 2015 Fourth Qualifying Round this weekend, hard to believe that Tranmere v Lincoln is a match up at this early stage of the competition. Also, didnt realise GTF has signed for Tranmere! scored last week!

Championship no chance, didnt score in 14 loan appearances from us with champ sides. League 2 Notts County would of been perfect imo.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Is it exclusively with the BBC or have BT got rights too?
Unabomber Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 My work mate has got FCUM at home tomorrow. Hope they get through.
filbertway Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Is it exclusively with the BBC or have BT got rights too? BT are showing a qualifier tomorrow,.so assume they have as well.
isaidno Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Fourth Qualifying Round this weekend, hard to believe that Tranmere v Lincoln is a match up at this early stage of the competition. Also, didnt realise GTF has signed for Tranmere! Gutted that Lincoln got Tranmere away , about the hardest team they could of got.
Lionator Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Barwell have a shot of getting into the first round. They play Rushden & Diamonds who are a level below them in the league system.
Nalis Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Gutted that Lincoln got Tranmere away , about the hardest team they could of got. What I cant believe is the 'reduced' ticket price of a tenner. For a non league team in a fourth qualifying round! http://mobile.tranmererovers.co.uk/news/article/fa-cup-retro-day-tranmere-v-lincoln-city-2756015.aspx Can't blame Tranmere too much really, they're just trying to balance the books I guess...
Ross-Kemp Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 It costs £18 to get in at Lincoln. That is ****ing ridiculous.
isaidno Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 That's about standard for national league. Payed £15 to get in at Eastleigh and that's a dive
Aus Fox Posted 24 October 2015 Posted 24 October 2015 It costs £18 to get in at Lincoln. We have a twenty's plenty campaign in the premier league, yet it's 18 non league. That's disgraceful! I know they have to balance the books but seriously 18 quid to watch a non league game is taking the piss.
RowlattsFox Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 Tv will be all over the fcum and Salford city games. Carlisle get Plymouth..
Voll Blau Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 Tv will be all over the fcum and Salford city games. Carlisle get Plymouth.. If they say yes to letting the cameras in that is...
purpleronnie Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 If they say yes to letting the cameras in that is... Given their finances ATM I would say that would be a definate YES!
