Jimothy Posted 8 January 2016 Posted 8 January 2016 It's a bit of a joke really klopp is claiming this was the only possible team he could put out for this game, bet that wouldn't be the case of this was a premier league game Having played Tuesday in the League cup and having a long list of injuries I think it's fair that he's saying this is all he could put out. You're right if this was a league game he might have risked the senior players but if he already missing the likes of Lovren, Skrtel, Origi, Henderson etc, why would he risk the likes of Allen, Lucas, Can etc in this game, because if they picked up knocks tonight he's even more screwed for the midweek league game.

Â He's made a couple of mistakes and certainly isn't good enough for the premier league now, but he was a great keeper and occasionally can show it (the save from Lamela I think it was at 1-0 in the cup last season), which is far more than can be said for Bodgan.Â
