Manwell Pablo Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Don't let Thracian hear you say that! Robert Carlos and Paolo Maldini hybrid with the set piece technique of David Beckham. On reflection not sure it's him there seems to be someone at the back for them who has a kicking technique which has no place in pro football and one thing I'll give him he can hit a clean ball.

Sheehan is playing CB tonight, not doing too well
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 "cuts inside like he's not even there" Well if he wasn't there why the **** would he cut inside?
Foxhateram Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Salford have been fantastic in this game. Amazingly impressed. Making Notts County look like a pub team.
The Doctor Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Brilliant work by that Allen. Salford look pretty good tbh.
Foxhateram Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Crazy goal that. You really wouldn't haven't thought there was a divide between these two teams. Allen looks pretty useful. Sign him up haha.
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Who is the co-commentator? absolute tripe.Jenas
Fox92 Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 I wouldn't say Salford look pretty good. They work hard and are committed but they play a lot of direct football. Hoof. Two goals were good, mind, but I think a better side than Notts County could've got a result.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 They play in the northern Evo stick premier you dweeb, beating a league 2 side is pretty fookin impressive.
goose2010 Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 You wouldn't of thought there was about 58 places between them, fair play to Salford just wanted it more. Imagine if they get United in round 3!
purpleronnie Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Who is the co-commentator? absolute tripe. He totally spolit it, how some of these people get jobs commentating is beyond me.
Leicesterpool Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Well done to Salford but Notts County were truly awful tonight. I can imagine alot of their supporters will be disgusted with there display tonight. It was more of the case of Notts County being bad rather than Salford being good. Found the coverage at times to be little over the top. Good luck to Barwell by the way.

Two goals were good, mind, but I think a better side than Notts County could've got a result. That's pretty harsh tbh. They played some decent football and put some good passages of play together in patches. The last 20 minutes were terrible hoof ball admittedly but in stages they showed some signs of good football. They certainly didn't play like a non league team, so I would say they are decent all considered.
Wymsey Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 It'll be interesting to see how Salford develop as a club. Scholes & co are just a bunch of men investing in their local team; they're not really business people, but hey ho.

Tuna Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 Salford have a playing buget which would be competetive in the conferene national, so the gap in quality is not that huge. However I would hope the clueles Notts County manager would offer his resignation, no excuse whatsoever for that unprofesional display. And Richie Allen played alongside Vardy at Fleetwood.
Super_horns Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 I won't be surprised come a few months they'll get bored and abandon this project. I think it will depend on how quickly they move up the leagues - if its a hard slog like last season seemed to be then they might get frustrated but the "famous 5" are local lads probably with the club at heart.
