Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Haslet The scrapings from the abattoir floor mixed with a few herbs never tasted so good
Webbo Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 i like a bit of Haslet, had some earlier in the week with mustard.Mine was in a roll though. Fook off do you!!!! What with a dressing of bullshite! It's all true. You have to suffer to be beautiful.
Steven Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Today I have a salami and cheese sandwich with chunky Branston, a muesli type bar and seedless grapes.
Rocket-Ron Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Haslet in a cob. Bit of HP sauce. Haslet only works with Colemans Mustard
Fox92 Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Ham sandwich, crisps and then a bit of carrot cake or Madeira cake. Very simple but I like it.
AyewJoking Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 I make my two kids a packed lunch every morning for school. Usually sandwiches, cheese and ham, Mayo, bit of mustard. Then some fruit, maybe a yogurt, cereal bar etc. Sometimes I add some grapes, fruit flakes or something. The whole process takes me about 25 minutes every morning. It breaks my heart when the little fvckers come home and I discover they've eaten fvck all of it. #wastingmytime maybe throw a Mars bar in there?
Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 genuinely never heard of Haslet! It's quite nice if you don't think too much about what it is. Mind you, I had a packet that, before it was even opened and well inside its sell by date, started to inflate. When I opened it, more out of curiosity than anything, the smell was out of this world. Put me off a bit

Put me off a bit Same thing happened to me a few months back with a tub of potted beef. I love that stuff, but I opened the tub and it had foamed up and stank of shit. Still in-date by 3 days, haven't bought any since
Guest MattP Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Chicken drumstick, Ham sandwich, smoky bbacon crisps and a mars bar.

Carl the Llama Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 2 smallish sausage rolls and a veg samosa.
Stevosevic Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 A salad containing lettuce, mushrooms, peppers, onion, carrot, feta cheese, chicken, bacon. Plus a packet of crisps and a banana.

Put me off a bit I'd never buy the supermarket shit version of haslet. Find a decent local pork butchers who make their own. Much nicer.

You see this is the dilemma. If I asked them what they want, they'd say chocolate, biscuits and crisps which the school frown upon. Sometimes its tempting to pack them up with a load of crap just so they get some calories in them. The other option is school dinners but at £2.50 each x 5 days a week that's £100 a month. Mind you, the amount I chuck away each month probably equates to that. So maybe that's the answer - school lunches and save myself loads of time in the morning! Thanks for listening while I coached myself through that problem

Wymsey Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Just having a chicken fajita panini with cranberry sauce.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 Pickled Onion too, but obviously you're not supposed to eat them. My son loves pickled onion Monster Munch and that's one of my life's greatest disappointments (so far)

Thanks for listening while I coached myself through that problem School dinners are ok , but some meals are awful and you can't keep an eye on how much gets thrown. Mine have dinners but then i always do another dinner in evening so i know they had something decent in them x
Larry_LCFC Posted 23 October 2015 Posted 23 October 2015 My life has gained a new perspective. A new meaning. A new chapter. I feel I have a purpose now. Where in Sol Bambas name do I find these?
